TANKER - Just one of many managers with a better managerial record than Ian Holloway, DAVID MOYES. Will David Moyes be the next Chelsea manager? I don't think so (please God).

"Stan, I thought your boys had it in the bag at half time (2-0)!!!"
Your not the only one Harry -): but as soon as Duff went off injured (H.T. I think) that was it. Very young team Howe is building but you still need a few old more experienced heads out there as we know.

Lukas Podolski to sign for Arsenal from Cologne
Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Germany striker Lukas Podolski from Cologne, BBC Sport understands.
Reports suggest the Gunners will pay £10.9m for the 26-year-old on a four-year contract worth £100,000 a week.

Nicked from the Daily Telegraph but so true ......
Man Utd 2 Athletic Bilbao 3, Out Played, Out Passed And Outsung!
Gutted! :O)
DEGEA Uniteds man of the match was outstanding, he saved them from severe embarrasment. Thought ROONEY was also brilliant in defence. To be fair he took the penalty well. Even the commentator saw the funny side. "Old Trafford is no longer a fortress, it's a gift shop" Brilliant :O)
Can't wait for the second leg, if it's as good as tonights match were in for a treat.

I've noticed that these import defenders for english teams specialise in ball watching....they're very good at that...stand by and watch the other side score.

Frankly the British sides have come up second best against the Spanish and Italians this year...they are far better than us...so far this year anyway...

Forget about all of these expensive imports and think about attending some of these Youth games.
Watched Burnley youth team recently and the quality of football took me back to the 60's and 70's in terms of effort and skill.. and didn't cost an arm and a leg to get in either.
Talking of which here are the details on the Semi's which I know you have been waiting for -):

Played with blood and guts last night the blues......huge result for them......DiMateo should be made manager full time.....if that's the motivation he gives players.....work to do on the defense but what a result against a very good Napoli side...

he can only work with what he's got at the moment - and that included a 'returned ahead of schedule' JT and Cahill on the bench.
Unless a deal has already been struck with Jose then almost certainly Roberto is in with a shot albeit things may look a little different after the next few fixtures inc Man City and Spurs

Crikey !...away win for Chelsea.....missed the game....with an away goal, a semi against Barca or Milan is a big possibility.

Chelsea will have to be at their very best to get past Barca.....logic dictates that the winner of the other semi will win the champions league.....

don't get that - surely Barca are the favourites for the whole comp ?
