WAKEY WAKEY
The market is open and the game is afoot. Let's get with it and make some dosh. Got to get in practice for the big game acoming.

Let us all start the day right with a FEB and hot tea or coffee. Crumpets anyone?

STORMCALLER - 09 Jul 2004 08:49 - 9521 of 23498

Socs,
After your wonderful guidance, believe I may have spotted a blue yesterday, just for a moment, but it may confirm your theory. Will keep eyes peeled today to see if it reappears.
Later
Regards
SC

My wonderful guidance?

daves dazzlers - 09 Jul 2004 09:06 - 9523 of 23498

morning all , just a flying visit, only 1 deal today ,cash, off to town to part with some money.any more info game wise,as to what indice,is it just 100 or will it be 250,not fussed either way,,,,,,,,morning stormie, not like yiu to be here this early.

Socrates - 09 Jul 2004 09:09 - 9524 of 23498

DD
I understand that Stormy's Tardis wouldn't start and he had to phone the AA Homestart service. Quick plug change and he was off, amazing that a sonic screwdriver can't locate a duff spark plug.

Fundamentalist - 09 Jul 2004 09:14 - 9525 of 23498

Morning all

Feel like i need something stronger than a coffee to start with - what an awful first hour!!!

little woman - 09 Jul 2004 09:36 - 9526 of 23498

Morning all,

I just don't seem to be able to get moving early anymore.... I really need a proper holiday!

Socrates - 09 Jul 2004 09:40 - 9527 of 23498

little woman
Get a grip there and buck yourself up, this won't do.

optomistic - 09 Jul 2004 09:42 - 9528 of 23498

Morning LW. I'm getting moving: going to Leeds on a bus!! taking share certs to TDW don't like risking the post, I sent my Premium Bonds to Blackpool for encashment by recorded delivery (3.75) and they have become a lost item!!

stockbunny - 09 Jul 2004 11:01 - 9529 of 23498

Opto - sorry to hear about the premium bonds - I use recorded delivery
for my share certs. and so far (touching wood rapidly!)mine have
ended up where they are supposed to,
guess you were very unlucky - but that doesn't change things I know.

Socco (Sir) - I have changed my profile now to reflect more accurately the bunny's position on/under terra firma, I tend to refer to where I am
in posts so I didn't think about changing the profile but you are quite
right Sir, there is no excuse for a tardy profile.
(ahh there's such a sense of authority about a man who's ex-forces,
maybe it's the uniform...giggle)

OK today the whole world is going to go BLUE!!! We have had enough red days
so it's about time it changed! (Preferably this will occur through rising
stock prices and I wont have to stand here holding my breathe to achieve
the desired affect for too long..)

stockbunny - 09 Jul 2004 11:45 - 9530 of 23498

Opto - "You have Bunny mail!"

Golddog - 09 Jul 2004 13:29 - 9531 of 23498

hello all,

jj, album was amy winehouse, more of a girlie album really but still good. some strong lyrics, some of it funny. enjoy your trip. did you get my recent email?

opto, enjoy your bus ride - been ages since i last went on a bus, was always worried they might tip over!!

storm caller, i think i'd better order some more guinness sir! and some more Bods while i'm at it.

Think i will have the Fillet Steak Ala Opto this lunchtime.

anyone seen dotel, i hope i did not scare her off with the cornflake incident?

optomistic - 09 Jul 2004 13:48 - 9532 of 23498

Nice trip GD. 40p each way total about 36 miles, cheaper than posting and I know its there!!
Could I join you in a steak, Hope Bunny's not too far away steak was perfect the other day :-)
Bunny thanks for the 'Bunny mail', got impulsive again this morning, bought THUS, too early it seems :-( Ah well if it turns out OK I will have a new car, well not completely new! if not I have got a bike.
Everything seems bleak today, I think we could all do with a little good news.

stockbunny - 09 Jul 2004 13:59 - 9533 of 23498

40p each way!! You certainly have value for money Opto, I use buses
routinely (no car) and I have to pay 1 per trip regardless, even if it
is for only one stop!

Nice to see you two gentlemen sporting blue shirts to start things off
this afternoon - I have of course been in a bath of blue dye all lunchtime
to help things along.I am also firmly sitting on my hands until LLOY goes
up as I must not add any more or buy (on impulse!) anything else until I
sell something. So I'll 'woman' the kitchen GD this afternoon to keep me out of trouble and temptation!

optomistic - 09 Jul 2004 14:14 - 9534 of 23498

The kitchen is looking brighter already. Bunny when you reach the ripe old age of 60 here in Yorks you can travel as far as you want in the designated area for 40p. I think some folks just go for a circular tour occasionally, you can do that as long as you dont get off. Have you no concessions in your area for people a little older than you?

stockbunny - 09 Jul 2004 14:31 - 9535 of 23498

Ah yes, of course (forgot!) we have concessions for the 'wise and seasoned'
-it's one of the brighter spots to being within 'King Ken's
Kingdom' that once in possession of a bus-pass you can travel free
anywhere in the greater London area. However, until you are mature enough
for one it's 1 a go - unless you're under 16 (I'm small, I try, I really do, but the drivers just wont believe me!) OR you have to mess about getting travel
cards to get cheaper travel and it's simply not worth it unless you travel
daily.

Mind you, I bet your scenary en-route is nicer then mine?

optomistic - 09 Jul 2004 14:44 - 9536 of 23498

Ah there you are then we are paying too much @ 40p. Yes Bunny every direction out of Barnsley is quite green, have to have some compensation for living here in the first place. I live just on the outskirts so I have access to nice walking areas.
As you have charge today could I have a large pot of tea made with one of GD's special T bags, sure he wont mind.

daves dazzlers - 09 Jul 2004 14:45 - 9537 of 23498

afternoon all,hoes trick`s.

optomistic - 09 Jul 2004 14:50 - 9538 of 23498
