How to profit from Betting Exchanges (BEX)

How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?

Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Gera should have equalised :-(

Pompey have got a fair chance as 5 of their last 7 are at home. Cant believe we are still below this lot in the league

What's the score with Europe for Arsenal now?

Fundamentalist - 27 Mar 2006 21:52 - 9533 of 10502

We'll be 4 points behind with a game in hand i think, though spurs still have to come to highbury - that or we win the champions league ;-)

Scripophilist - 27 Mar 2006 21:53 - 9534 of 10502

After Liverpools performance last year I wouldn't rule anything out.

Fundamentalist - 27 Mar 2006 21:53 - 9535 of 10502

Tottenham fans singing "are you watching Arsenal" as if we should be in awe of that lol

Fundamentalist - 27 Mar 2006 21:54 - 9536 of 10502

Scripophilist - 29 Mar 2006 13:08 - 9545 of 10502

Fantastic result for the gooners, I was at the ProShare awards last night so I missed the match but there were plenty of fans to fill me in on the detail on the train home. I thought they were winding me up but it looks like Arsenals name could be on the cup!

Fundamentalist - 29 Mar 2006 14:06 - 9546 of 10502

Betangel appears to be sticking quite a lot recently - is this just a problem at my end or are others having same probs?
