Bad head, poochie-poo? You can help me sweep up the ricicles before you curl up in your basket. Been away for a few days, and the cornflakes shelf is bare..

Thanks everyone for the b'day wishes...it's all uphill again now :)

STORMCALLER - 10 Jul 2004 12:41 - 9561 of 23498

Good Afternoon all,
Just returned from exhausting trolley Grand-Prix, did very well, only beaten into second place by fetching young lady doing her make-up crossing the finishing line. Going to watch qualifying for the real thing later, expect that to be much gentler affair. Got time for a Guinness luncheon though.

Socrates - 10 Jul 2004 14:04 - 9562 of 23498

Hello all and a happy Saturday to everyone. Anyone going to Silverstone should consider coughing up a small fortune and flying in by helicopter. Seats can be booked, from where I don't know, but saves all that waiting and queueing in traffic for hours.

STORMCALLER - 10 Jul 2004 14:08 - 9563 of 23498

Socs,
Good afternoon, after tireless search yesterday found a "blue" kept it until end of session, now prepared to believe your assertion that they do indeed exist. (You may have guessed it has not been a good week for me!)

Socrates - 10 Jul 2004 14:27 - 9564 of 23498

Stormy
I actually manage 50% blues out of 18, pure luck I assure you. I am very tempted to crystalise my losses and pile into one particular stock which is doing quite well. Just need to get over the psychological hump of admitting some of the shares are not as brilliant as I thought they were.

Here, have a pear drop and a cup of tea.

STORMCALLER - 10 Jul 2004 14:31 - 9565 of 23498

Socs,
As considerate as ever. Re your problem, what does your luck dragon tell you, probably as good a guide as anything else.

Socrates - 10 Jul 2004 14:38 - 9566 of 23498

Oh Stormy, now I feel deprived, I haven't got a luck dragon. I've got a pet rock, would that do?

STORMCALLER - 10 Jul 2004 14:41 - 9567 of 23498

In the end it just comes down to what works for you, but surely that means you will never be stony broke?

Socrates - 10 Jul 2004 14:42 - 9568 of 23498

True, but I don't see my pet rock very much. He has his own circle of friends you know, down at Avebury.

STORMCALLER - 10 Jul 2004 14:49 - 9569 of 23498

Sounds to me like you have a monumental pet Socs, that should help you to make ever boulder decisions, and, hopefully, to pick the rock-solid certainties.

Socrates - 10 Jul 2004 14:51 - 9570 of 23498

Would that it should be that way Stormy, I would just like to win on aggregate.

Socrates - 10 Jul 2004 14:54 - 9571 of 23498

Good heavens, a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder and the rain comes pouring. I got home from shopping just in time. Cheltenham was last seen floating down the river Severn with a lone figure waving from the shore.

STORMCALLER - 10 Jul 2004 14:59 - 9572 of 23498

Did anyone wave back?

Socrates - 10 Jul 2004 15:01 - 9573 of 23498

Only a rock.

STORMCALLER - 10 Jul 2004 15:06 - 9574 of 23498

Socs,
Once again I am in awe of your wisdom, and wish I could stay longer, but I have to leave now, will maybe get back later.
Bye all.
