Yo!

vasey - 29 Mar 2003 23:28 - 964 of 23498

Hi gorgeous! Welcome back. We've missed you. What have you been up to?

Socrates - 29 Mar 2003 23:45 - 965 of 23498

Vasey
I've been shopping, gadding about and generally being a layabout. No. 1 Sons birthday to take care of etc. etc. All sorted now so back to normal. I've just reset all my clocks for the summer time, I shall miss that hours sleep.

Antiques fair tomorrow so I'll be out for a while, it's up at the racecourse so Hightone will know where I'll be. He should be quite familiar with the place.

Fancy some bubbly for a nightcap?

Incidentally, I was listening to a webcast between TW and EK and EK reckoned to have bet 500k in total at Cheltenham. Came away clear profit 250k. It's a different world out there for some!

vasey - 29 Mar 2003 23:51 - 966 of 23498

Oh go on then! How are your shares doing, any news on PDX?

Socrates - 29 Mar 2003 23:59 - 967 of 23498

Oh great, you are still here. Pop, fizz gurgle. There you are Vasey, fresh from the bottle.

Shares more or less stabilised in price, some going north and others still marginally south. PDX I've heard nothing new although posters seem to think that there are some contracts for pumps in the offing. There is certainly some press interest. The Co say they are not interested in production, only licensing, so I think it will drift until there is an announcement.

DYS I'm still holding and waiting but, as you know, that is still drifting south.

One of my dogs, CRB, has suddenly perked up, just a little, but anything is welcome.

How are yours doing?

vasey - 30 Mar 2003 00:04 - 968 of 23498

I've discovered GNI and thoroughly enjoying shorting a few dogs in the FTSE100. Very small stakes until I develop a style that works for me but great fun.

DYS is fine, they're just keeping their heads down and concentrating on the business. They'll be fine, I'm sure. Just no great news to release at the moment, I suppose.

The rest are a mixed bunch. Mostly going nowhere, which isn't so bad. But I must pay more attention to the Trading Game. We need to knock that Pooch off his perch!

Socrates - 30 Mar 2003 00:13 - 969 of 23498

Vasey
Too true, can't let him win he would be insufferable. Likeable little pup though.

Maybe when this little middle eastern incident is settled things will calm down.

I am looking for a candidate for the trading game. I was hoping for great things from PDX but it does need a small kick to get it going.

I'm off to bed now, I'll dream of a Scots lass in a tartan nightie. Back, tomorrow. Goodnight

Socks.

vasey - 30 Mar 2003 00:14 - 970 of 23498

Jeffmack,

Could you check your inbox when you've got a mo please?

jeffmack - 31 Mar 2003 14:11 - 975 of 23498

Hil
Just checked and nothing there.

hilary - 31 Mar 2003 14:15 - 976 of 23498

Thanks.

No problem. You can take it away if you like.

hilary - 31 Mar 2003 14:48 - 977 of 23498

A blind rabbit is hopping across the woods and accidently bumps into a snake. "Sorry about that", says the rabbit, "but I'm blind". "Don't worry about it", says the snake, "I'm blind too. Let me feel you and I'll tell you what you are".

Anyway, the snake starts feeling the rabbit and he says "Well you're warm, you're furry and you've got floppy ears, so you must be a rabbit".

"That's correct", says the rabbit, "Now it's my turn to guess what you are". So the rabbit starts to feel the snake and he says "Well you're cold, you're slimy, you've got no backbone and you've got no balls. Therefore, you must be a Frenchman."

:-)

jeffmack - 31 Mar 2003 16:00 - 978 of 23498

LOL, we have had some American colleagues over the past couple of weeks and they hate the French with a passion.

Socrates - 31 Mar 2003 16:44 - 979 of 23498

Hilary
