capetown - he's not a director, he's a fund manager and nothing to do with EVS except he still holds 7 million shares. If you held so many and expected bad news, would you keep hold of them? Directors of a company are not allowed to trade their own company's shares within quite a margin in time of an RNS release.

Is Heyworth-Dunn a director? - I dont think so. He would not be allowed to sell so cloee to a trading statement.
He may have sold to raise funds for a new car. He may have sold 1 million to take his holding under the magic 3%, so he can sell the rest without having to give any other notification of other sales.
Kevin Jauncey is well respected in the City and has turned EVS fortunes around.
This turnaround I believe is still continuing despite the weakness in share price.
More to the point the trading statement is now likely to be next week - trust me.

gordon - apparently, on the company website they have stated 3rd/4th week for ts, and definitely July. I'm below my average sp now, so I am hoping for an optimistic ts, but will be buying again in August.

Ok,now we find that Advansuk has sold all his holding.I realise it is to pay for a house he is having built in Spain but one now has to ask if indeed the ts is going to be poor.Over on the other site i stated that many newbies had bought into EVS on the optimism that advan brought to the bbs but i got slapped down as been unfair. We have now seen two people who must have priveliged information bail out of 1 million shares each so where to now.I really do hope Envesta read these bbs because if they hit us now with a crap ts it will prove that insider dealing has been going on,so give us the best news we could hope for, a really good trading update.I will of course be sorry for Advans loss should the sp fly higher but on the other hand i will be sceptical of EVS if indeed we see the sp slump on ts day.

i must admit I was a little suprised to see advan go, but i cant realy see the TS being bad. Things have been a little slow with the generation of the dealer site, but much of this is due to the amount of dealers that have taken it up i believe.
Whatever, the price at the moment is cheap a p/e of about 8 for the coming year
market cap of about 10.6 million
turnover of somewhere about 20 million
profit at about 1.1 to 1.3 million this year
We know that Jan, Feb and March were producing profit of around 140,000 per month and in May Kevin Jauncey bought shares. He is a very good business man, who I dont think would waste his money if the turnaround had stopped.
I think we will see good comments regarding CCR, an an announcement regarding the dealer site being up and running, and profits being maintained.
Remember Seymour stated that EVS shares were bargain bucket at this price, and they expect to upgraded their future estimates after trading update.
One thing that would make the price rocket is if EVS stated that CCR would increase company profits before the 18 months they originaly stated.
Anyway thats my thoughts, and not to long to wait

Sirus and 0222166 -
Sorry I been away today, and do some work at home.
Posts certainly make one think.
I am really surprised at advansuk selling out though.
And there were sells today of 500k an 550k.
My conviction is still there - in fact I topped up about a month ago.
I am holding quite a few now, as the fundamentals and prospects still look good.
One other thing is I cant believe that Kevin Jauncey with his excellent reputation in the City, and for succeeding in the past would not perform now.
However, any black clouds and I am in for a real kicking with this one at present.
The sale of Heyworth-Dunn may have just been profit taking or just to raise funds.
One thing we all agree on - even the derampers - the TS next week will be absolutely all important now.
Is there a leak of information at EVS, that things are not quite as good as one now expects them to be? This must be a question with all the thin poor trading days we are seeing and the bid now at 4.15p. Our questions will be answered next week.
Surely advansuk does not really know anything of the trading of the last 3 months to make him sell out. The stock has been 65% higher in early April to what it is now. Will it return to that price soon. Where is Quinan he was predicting 9p at the end of next March. Are we being hung out to dry! It happened to me with Clubhaus, where the shareholders were calling for a Stock Exchange enquiry.
Lets hope our convictions and faith in EVS and Kevin Jauncey will be rewarded.
I was unable to get on the advfn.com BB tonight.

Had a problem with Advfn.com tonight-
I get the headers titles, but I dont get the blocks of blue background,
and cant access the BB. Strange.
Same this morning - can access quotes or premium BB, but not free BB.
Last time I e-mailed advfn.com they said they could offer me a premium subscription but that is not what I want to pay to use the free BB.

Guru and Sirus and 0222166 - I suppose Advans can do what he likes with his money BUT he did seem to be claiming insider knowledge of EVS and some investors might think he knows that the TS will be no good and that's why he sold. It does seem to be very fishy. I have tried to follow the other board on AD VFN but they mainly seem to be semi-literate no hopers who will jump on any bandwagon and cause as much trouble as they can when they do it. I see that Haystack and Mufmitz became targets but some of the things they were saying seemed OK to me. Mufmitz was predicting the SP using charts and he actually got it right.

Cheers Muff for those wise words.Im with you all the way Guru and like you i am looking at a fair sized loss even at the moment,in fact i dont believe there can be too many who are in profit with these. Many of the holders who were in at 2p will have sold out leaving many who bought at 4p and above high and dry at the moment. What we have to remember is that even the 2 institutions bought in at a much higher price and they dont appear to have averaged down on their holdings.I cant believe either institution has bailed out,it wouldnt make sense to only be in a few months and then jump ship.It does appear very strange though that large holders who lets be honest about it will be in the know better than us have bailed out.If they had heard that the ts was gonna be really good no way would they have sold out.All that keeps going through my head is the fact that EVS got rid of all shareholders who held less than 15k of shares only last november. They did that for a reason. The last thing they want is to get straight back to having zillions of shareholders so i am convinced all this skullduggery with the sp is so weak holders will ditch giving the chance for the institutions to mop them up.As ive said before i am here for the much longer term.I actually believe in EVS as an investment not a day, week or month thing.Of course i will sell when the time is right but i want to see the sp rise significantly into double figures before i ditch any.I will top up when funds allow but my other dog Medisys has started to show signs of life so i will have to split my money two ways now.I have watched the presentation again and again and really just cannot accept anything could have gone wrong in 4 mths, far from it i really do expect things to have gone from strength to strength. We will soon know.Good luck Guru and all other longterm holders.

Sirus - Like you I have the same thoughts. Are we both being sold down the river?
On the negative side - I was extremely surprised to hear that Advansuk had sold out, especially after meeting the directors and taking them out to lunch, and with his knowledge we all assumed he had of the Company - true or false. How much knowledge did he have recently.
I am a little worried about the insiderinside comments, cause I think he may work for EVS or has very close contacts with EVS, and he has been near the mark in the past.
On the plus side - I am asking myself the same question has things gone bad since the TS from Kevin Jauncey last time around? I cant believe so. How much are the set up costs for CCR?, which has been said to be doing extremely well.
It is a mind field at present! Does anybody really know anything.
What does the Company have to say about the share price fall of nearly 40%, since early April?
Next week will tell - I am still in profit at present buying most at between 2.7 / 3p but my finances are weak at present so a good trading statement and a 2p rise would be most welcomed at present.
