fundy what also happended about 30 secs from the market being suspended the 2nd fav had all the money taken out so someone had the word before they could close the market.

betfair should suspend before the result is known - it cant be that difficult to get an agreement from the racetracks to be notified 10 secs before the announcement, the result is announced on track before betfair suspend currently - some times by more than a few secs hence the winner is backed down to 1.01

Bit worried about Arsenal tonite, not happy with the approach which appears to be happy with 0-0. Reyes and/or Ljundberg need to give Clichy more cover and someone has got to give us another outlet rather than Henry. Ljundberg seems to not knowe where he's supposed to be playing and hence not contibuting to attack or defence, would much rather see Pires on in that position personally.

Still, 45 minutes to Paris (or could it be 75 mins or even worse for my nerves penalties)

Over the last couple of days ive been really having a good look at these programs from betfair. Arguably im lazy but I havent been able to get through hardly any of this thread lol so was looking for someone who could maybe give me a summary (someone whos been here from the start) and if anyone could answer these questions.

Who has bought betangel?

What stakes do you bet?

Would you recommend it?

Is it easy to use?

Sorry for all the questions but I want to make sure before buying

In answer to your questions, i have bought and use Betangel regularly (most days and always when i use betfair). Yes i would recommend it, but only to someone who is serious about trading on betfair on a regular basis. As for being easy to use, in terms of placing a straight forward bet it is as simple as it comes in terms of being one click software. However, in addition to this it has a lot of extra features which are very valuable once you know how to use them thugh take a little getting used to and fine tuning to suit your own style.

Before purchasing you should check out these features and the demos on the betangel website

As for size of bets, mine range from 20 to several thousand depending on the event and price and my own risk reward view of it. I trade quite a variety of events though my two core sports are Horse Racing and Cricket, though Football, Rugby, Darts and Snooker are all regular events for me too

First off thanks very much for your reply, I wasnt expecting such a useful response so quickly! lol

I feel if I did purchase Bet Angel, I would naturally spend more time/allow more time for trading on Betfair. However my bet sizes are usually around the 2-100. This is the dilema I have..

From the few videos I have watched they seem to make it look relatively easy to profit using the program, one thing I noticed was that the outlay was always around 100 (even to win as little as 2 etc).

I suppose a big reason why I dont trade on Betfair that much and bet in relatively small stakes is that I find that trading has become increasingly difficult (too fast for me to take advantage of any price errors tbh) and id be hoping bet angel could close this gap down.

The sports I trade are Football, Darts, Snooker and I have actually had the greatest success with Special Bets, big brother etc (which I actually still find relatively easy to trade due to the length of the contest and the huge fluctuations in price.

At the moment I have a lot of free time so would be able to spend a good few hours learning/understanding Bet Angel.

The above sums up my "situation"..would you recommend me purchasing it?

I guess it boils down to the type of trading you are doing and the timescale you expect to be in the bet.

For example I may trade 2000 on an odds on horse but i may only be in the trade for 30 secs - looking for a tick or two whereas on the cricket I may take a position at the start of a test match which runs for a few days. In these instances the first scenario is nigh on impossible without Betangel wheres as the second instance doesnt require betangel (but having it does allow me to have a stop loss in place if i need to go out)

I guess from what you say you are mainly taking an opening position which you consider to be a value bet and then looking to green up once the value has reduced with little reliance on what i call "fastest finger first"

If this is the case then im not sure you would gain a great deal from Betangel Pro, though having it may change your aproach to the way you trade some of the sports

One thing to bear in mind with the size of bets, when i open a trade, the initial position may be for 2000 but i am not prepared to lose all of it - more likely only 5-10% maximum, so actually the size of the actual bet doesnt really translate to my exposure
