new millennium resources (NML)

LEEWINK - 28 Mar 2004 15:45

NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

MMs make losses? No chance!

mjr1234,

The rush for the exit continues, big 25 share sale just gone through!

broker200 selling up his total holding perhaps?

mjr1234 - 22 Jun 2005 10:19 - 967 of 1909

Some heavy buying today as well - someone bought a massive 363 shares!

Seriously though, looks like it could be MMs tidying up their books for some reason. Hopefully before a massive rise?!

Andy,

How come you seem so bullish on EPD and more bearish on NML?

If you ignore the paranoid conspiracy theories peddled by Anom et al, then the two companies look similar in terms of risk/reward, with the bonus that NML is starting from a much lower base with around 1/4 the market cap?

Andy - 22 Jun 2005 10:22 - 969 of 1909

mjr1234,

Yes I just saw that one too!

It does make you wonder why people are trading such odd amounts, that are under the value of the cost of the trade. This occurs on all stocks from time to time.

FDI are doing well today, maybe it'll rub off on the other diamond juniors.

Andy - 22 Jun 2005 10:36 - 970 of 1909

mjr1234,

Ok my position is that I think the premier diamond junior is Firestone, which I feel is an excellent prospect over the longer term, no multi baggers by Xmas, just a steadily growing diamond junior producer and explorer.

I think EPD will also do well, although they seem to have been struck by the late RNS syndrome too!

lesotho looks good, (and I believe grades will be better than expected),and 'IF' EPD make a commercially economic discovery in finland, then there will be significant upside to the current price IMHO.

NML on the otherhand are significantly behind schedule, with the appalling weather just three or four months away, and I wonder whether they have the necessary in depth experience to bring the project through to fruition.

I think the next RNS will be crucial, and 'IF' it's positive, with decent grades and valuations, I may change my stance, but not before.

The main difference between NML & EPD is the management and the location.

stockdog - 22 Jun 2005 12:10 - 972 of 1909

whoops, wrong button

GayBriefs - 22 Jun 2005 14:34 - 973 of 1909

"significantly behind schedule"

LOL !
Will soon be able to buy a shed load at 3.25p and below ,this is going down big time is sub 1p possible?

mjr1234 - 22 Jun 2005 15:56 - 974 of 1909

Don't think so GayBriefs,

Can only buy 7.5k on Comdirect, can sell over 1M@3.25p!

Looks like a "mystery buyer" may be around?

Andy - 22 Jun 2005 16:35 - 975 of 1909

mjr1234,

I have just checked, and they are showing a maximum of 75,000 at 3p bid!

Andy - 22 Jun 2005 16:42 - 976 of 1909

mjtr1234,

you are right about the buy limit, which is only 28,000, interesting!

mjr1234 - 22 Jun 2005 16:54 - 977 of 1909

LOL, I meant 3.25p - edited the post.

Andy - 22 Jun 2005 17:25 - 978 of 1909

ok :-)

The buy limit of 28,000 certainly is interesting, RNS coming perhaps?

mjr1234 - 22 Jun 2005 17:45 - 979 of 1909

Strange how you got 75k sell limit though.

My broker has had a buy limit of 7500 shares all afternoon!

mjr1234 - 23 Jun 2005 12:56 - 980 of 1909
