oh come on kids, stop abusing each other. Else big Kong will have to come in and bang a few heads together.
PM1, like your research and informative posts. Maybe less abuse.
Sham, like to hear your opposing opinion, but back it up with some facts. Did you say you bought some today or was that someone else?

For my sins I did buy today, purely trading reasons as I think we'll see a technical bounce tomorrow from this oversold territory. Couple of up days perhaps then the fall should continue, may be an opportunity for some to bail if anyone was thinking about it. Your money though so do as you wish.
One notes paul still gets upset with my postings even though he claims to have squelched me long ago, some things never change as he's never filtered anyone in his life; tripping him up is fun though:-)

For what its worth, fundamentally the "potential" has not changed for SEO.
They have a lot of good ideas in many fields with patents galore, many ideas that "could" change the face of packaging.
Now the difficult bit, ARE THEY AND CAN THEY BRING THIS TO MARKET WITH REAL AND SIGNIFICANT ORDERS? At the moment it would appear that this isn't happening, even if Northern Foods are involved it won't take the number of machines much above 20 at this stage and that means that fundamentally the bread is not being brought to the table.
There is a world of difference between potential and profits, my own view has been to take good profits yesterday and retain some long-term as I expect that the market may continue to react badly in the short term to the lack of progress.
Yes I know I've been an SEO supporter and still believe in the potential but the profits better in my bank thank you and I'm sure the BPRG crowd wish they'd banked theirs. I expect to get back in again at a lower price when there is more clarity AND if my hunch is wrong and good deals with real profit visibility are announced shortly I have dosh to get straight back in and make more profit.
No ramping or de-ramping here, just an honest personal assessment of the position of SEO sp in the market at the current time. Fundamental potential unchanged but sadly at this time fundamental profits not altered much either. If it all comes good this will still be a massive profit maker for patient investors.
I'm still in, still believe in the potential but have withdrawn profits. Lessons learnt before that personal views mean nothing to the market and your profit can soon disappear. Good luck everyone whatever you decide.

ps, won't be able to reply to any comments about the above as I am off travelling in the world of packaging. I expect some SEO investors who know my views since 4-6p may be disappointed that I've taken profit for now but I have to be realistic that the market is against SEO at the moment, there is no point cutting my nose to spite my face and losing the dosh I've made. They need confirmed significant orders to budge the sp now, not more potential. As long as Asda cuts costs will they progress several hundred machines, who really knows??
If all comes good sp will still see 50p, but I think its a while off yet and I'll let the market settle and SEO deliver the goods before I step back in with a significant purchase. Good Luck.

In 2003, BAT produced 792 billion cigarettes worldwide, with a global market share of 14.6 per cent.
792 / 14.6 x 100 = 5424,000,000,000 cigarettes in 2003
cigarette filters is the one I'm thinking about

Enjoy your travels Andy.
I can only assume the Northern foods award by ASDA has spooked you and many others.
The fundamentals have not changed and there is NO bad news. I do however respect your personal choice.

Mostly trading, very little money to be made buying and holding; changed days!
Made a lot by following Pauls ramps then shorting them, prefer making money on the long side though.

Just read the last couple of days posts and can honestly say I have never heard such a load of irrelevant bullshit as has been mentioned by those bashing SEO regarding the Northern Foods contract. Talk about seeing the small picture....
Have SEO / ASDA not already announced the conversion of several hundred machines in the next 12 months? If only 300, at 30k / machine, PE of 25 that gives a mcap of $225m and ignores any other conversions for ASDA, ignores a Walmart or other US deal, ignores Starpol, Frogpack and the countless other opportunities. OK the profits have not been delivered yet but if they had do you think SEO would be 17p? Investing is all about spotting the opportunity before its reflected in the sp. Traders can play this and good luck to them but for those investing for the medium to long term I have not seen such potential with any other company elsewhere. Anthing other than a sharp rise tomorrow and I'm in for another 100 000 to take me to 700 000.
One Q, given there appeared to be 5 million more sells than buys today does anyone know if this means that the MMs are now holding this stock?

I see fromm the thread list that the sham is still posting, I also had an email to say most of it was abuse directed at me, but the sham is squelched by me, so it shows what a loser the sham is, posting abuse at someone who never sees it, I bet the sham loves sticking knives in other peoples backs too ....

dawall Hi,
Yes the stock would be on the MM's books, not the same as an MM buy where they personally own the stock though.
I suggest looking at the trades and their times too, as many of the sells may well be buys ....
Cheers,
PM

Actually PM1 I did ask Sham about his trading position and whether he bought any in SEO. He admitted he's a trader and fair play to him. I for one am not a trader and although have done in the past (some successfully some not), each peson to their own.
I guess it's just a game of chess and I still believe in the potential of SEO. As for having anymore funds available...well if I could have bet On Grimbsy beating Spurs then I would have (but being a Spurs fan that would go against my position!!).

A market maker buy does not mean they own the stock for themselves!
Market makers make cash by trading the stock, it's a riskless transaction where they take stock on and sell it off higher; whether thats done via sells or mm buys is irellavent as it's all going to be sold off higher later on.
The more I read your posts the more I realise what a bluff your playing here, you don't have a clue do you?

KKB Hi,
I don't care how the sham makes money, so long as it doesn't involve posting continual abuse directed at me, especially when I have the basher squelched, and do not want to see his drivel, and he knows it, so why doesn't he stop ?
I know his days are numbered here, I know a lot more than he and many others will give me credit for, and thats why I keep buying more shares, even though my average price is creeping up, I know what I will be selling them for, whether I have to wait 3 years or 5 years, and it will make me millions more than the sham will by trading them over that time.
Cheers,
PM

Shamona's name comes from the fact that he pretends to buy SEO occasionally so that he has a reason to comment.
Sham Owner
He isn't clever enough to buy any. He hates them for "stealing" a patent from his beloved BPRG and bringing about their demise. That's how he thinks.
Don't talk to him; he's laughing at you.
