Cheers Muff for those wise words.Im with you all the way Guru and like you i am looking at a fair sized loss even at the moment,in fact i dont believe there can be too many who are in profit with these. Many of the holders who were in at 2p will have sold out leaving many who bought at 4p and above high and dry at the moment. What we have to remember is that even the 2 institutions bought in at a much higher price and they dont appear to have averaged down on their holdings.I cant believe either institution has bailed out,it wouldnt make sense to only be in a few months and then jump ship.It does appear very strange though that large holders who lets be honest about it will be in the know better than us have bailed out.If they had heard that the ts was gonna be really good no way would they have sold out.All that keeps going through my head is the fact that EVS got rid of all shareholders who held less than 15k of shares only last november. They did that for a reason. The last thing they want is to get straight back to having zillions of shareholders so i am convinced all this skullduggery with the sp is so weak holders will ditch giving the chance for the institutions to mop them up.As ive said before i am here for the much longer term.I actually believe in EVS as an investment not a day, week or month thing.Of course i will sell when the time is right but i want to see the sp rise significantly into double figures before i ditch any.I will top up when funds allow but my other dog Medisys has started to show signs of life so i will have to split my money two ways now.I have watched the presentation again and again and really just cannot accept anything could have gone wrong in 4 mths, far from it i really do expect things to have gone from strength to strength. We will soon know.Good luck Guru and all other longterm holders.

Sirus - Like you I have the same thoughts. Are we both being sold down the river?
On the negative side - I was extremely surprised to hear that Advansuk had sold out, especially after meeting the directors and taking them out to lunch, and with his knowledge we all assumed he had of the Company - true or false. How much knowledge did he have recently.
I am a little worried about the insiderinside comments, cause I think he may work for EVS or has very close contacts with EVS, and he has been near the mark in the past.
On the plus side - I am asking myself the same question has things gone bad since the TS from Kevin Jauncey last time around? I cant believe so. How much are the set up costs for CCR?, which has been said to be doing extremely well.
It is a mind field at present! Does anybody really know anything.
What does the Company have to say about the share price fall of nearly 40%, since early April?
Next week will tell - I am still in profit at present buying most at between 2.7 / 3p but my finances are weak at present so a good trading statement and a 2p rise would be most welcomed at present.

I am still having a problem getting into the free BB on advfn.com on my home computer. When I go in the blue bar background, are not there, I can get into other things and the blue bar background comes back, but I still cant get into the free BB.
I did e-mail support at advfn.com who said it could be something to do with having Norton internet security loaded on, and they could offer me a subscripton at 11.75 per month which would they think would overcome this problem. But guess at home I wont be able to post on advfn.com cause I am not in a position to fork out 11.75 each month. Maybe advfn.com need to make their free BB more
accessible.
I have even disabled Norton Internet Security and still the free BB is not accessible on advfn.com - Does advfn.com not non paying sub. posters to post?

SIRUS - 24 Jul 2005 15:42 - 983 of 1643

Must be something wrong your end Guru as i can still get in.Is it a cookie problem.I found logging off and logging back on got me back on SC after i couldnt reply to posts.

annbar - 24 Jul 2005 22:17 - 984 of 1643

Should we have a strong TS from Envesta this week (it's bound to have jam tomorrow - as CCR will take at least another six months to move into profit)
one or two of the posters will be saying it's a pity Advansuk could not have held on to his stock a little longer. We think it shows guts for someone to explain what he has done - remember he sold a month ago and not recently. We don't think the directors would have had an idea then of what the TS would contain.

Remember DYOR.

SIRUS - 24 Jul 2005 22:48 - 985 of 1643

To be fair to advan he must have took a hit on EVS as the sp has drifted ever since CCR came to the fore.I think the hard thing to understand is that many including myself regarded him as the main driver on the bb,i know you shouldnt listen but most of his arguements were compelling. All of a sudden he has gone through the windscreen and bailed out leaving many of us thinking what the hell.Naturally many on the bbs start to wonder if indeed he has recieved privileged info about the upcoming ts and that is why some have gone for the jugular believing that we are going to get a poor ts.As a longterm holder like you Annbar i fully expect better news as the year goes on so heres hoping all the doomsters have it totally wrong and we get a better than expected ts.Unfortunately for Advan he cant win.If the ts is crap people will slag him off for bailing out,if its far better than most think then the rise in the sp wont be good for him to watch.

guru11, what browser are you using. If you're using IE, try Firefox, Opera or Safari (Mac) instead.

Ling - 25 Jul 2005 17:15 - 989 of 1643

It would seem that someone thinks I am Mufmitz! The ADV FN thread is very long and I have only read a few of his posts. It would seem that he is a holder of EVS but has tried to get all posters to see sense about EVS. I see no harm in that - his chart reading was quite accurate.

annbar - 25 Jul 2005 21:27 - 990 of 1643

Lol!

guru11 - 25 Jul 2005 22:14 - 991 of 1643

Ed Straker - thanks for the advice. I had the same problem a while ago. I am not sure what happened but I was able to get in. Then I lost my line connection to the internet and now in, have the same problem. At work absolutely no problem. No problem with moneyam though - strange.

Sirus - I am still hopeful of the TS. The only thing that may crop up is higher set up costs for CCR, but then this would probably be a one off. In time this could be eliminated with higher CCR revenues. 8 months is a long time to March and I still maintain we could be looking at a much higher share price then. Those selling out now are loosing their bottle and will regret it.

guru11 - 26 Jul 2005 08:49 - 992 of 1643

Ed - Does appear to be a brower problem. I contacted aol help line who suggested I tried IE and it actually worked, but a bit slow though. I think the aol setting need changing somehow. Hopefully I will resolve the problem given time.

For those taking a longer term view, I believe that they will be well rewarded.
The share price at present is a bit shakey but in the past 4p has been the resistance level. We saw buyers come back in yesterday. Punters are just nervous seeing the share price go down, thinking that it could go lower. If enough punters actually think it will go lower and as a result sell out it surely will go lower, and as a futher result it will become undervalued, which it probably already is now on prospects.

As I keep saying - Does anyone actually know what is in the TS as yet. I dont believe that there is any leaks. The company I work for has 7,000 employees yet only a handful of people actually are aware of the p&l before the results come out. So is it just speculation that the recovery has not continue in the last 3 months? Is it the normal summer drift in share prices which is sending EVS lower? All will be answered in time.

insiderinside - 26 Jul 2005 12:18 - 993 of 1643

It now appears that both Advan and Pete sold out on EVS at the last high - Advans is now saying its not looking too good short term - and Petes comment today was "your just deserts are just around the corner" - coming "bad" TS ??

Looks like it. Be careful.

insiderinside - 26 Jul 2005 12:22 - 994 of 1643

The just deserts meaning "revenge" for those people who slagged Advan off for selling - oh dear.

REDHILL - 26 Jul 2005 12:30 - 995 of 1643

Well thats inside information then!!!

insiderinside - 26 Jul 2005 12:35 - 996 of 1643

annbar - 26 Jul 2005 16:27 - 997 of 1643

insiderinside -

Are you a young lady - for it's only young ladies who say hey? We noted you used it on ADVFN as well - surely the expression is old hat now!
