driver, for me the price hike this year was totally on the back of greenseal. expectations were made high by seo and asda trumpeting the success of greenseal, but, as yet, it has not delivered in the kind of numbers we were led to believe. unless greenseal starts getting orders seo will lose credibility and any other announcements, such as today's, will not be viewed as significant. my main worry for greenseal is that, if northern foods have managed to shave off 25% without greenseal , other packers will surely follow their lead. biotec could indeed be massive, but seo need greenseal to be a success first.

Northern foods could not just shaved off 25% the margins are to small for a packer to do that, they either used greanseal or the order was different, if they did manage to do it then Asda would have argued that they can save even more using G/Seal 35%?

Hi All,

Biotec has several products that when announced, will show that the Biotec aquisition is, as EVO said, 'a real coup'.

Anyone who has looked at my posts on Cigarette Filter potential, only one of example of Biotecs IP, will see the potential that exists in that area. Also the patents link I posted earlier this week lists another gem, starch based foil, which sounds like the packaging used for snacks like crisps and some frozen foods, and the back of blister packs for drugs, and lids for pots like yoghurt, pot noodle, pringles etc.

With oil running out and prices going through the roof of everyones forecasts, we are now entering the age of bio-plastics, and biodegradable and recyclable packaging, in a big way, things will be moving faster and faster, as more companies try and beat the rising costs of perto-plastics. This will really explode over the next couple of years, and Stanelco's timing could not have been better.

Lemming Investor, like me, could see a long time ago the potential of Greenseal taking Stanelco into the FTSE-100 over the next few years. Now we have Starpol 2000, and several other products that could be as big or bigger than Greenseal.

Idiots like iidiot and shamona will be left in the dust, and bprg may well be with them.

Cheers,
PM

Interestingly, I wonder how many further machines have been converted? None, 5, 10, 20.... I certainly do not expect SEO to announce continually. Perhaps things are not as critical as some perhaps think. We'll have to wait and see.

Bosley/ Driver Hi,

Maybe Northern just made the meals 25% smaller .... LOL !!!!

'ASDA' new low calorie low fat low cholesterol meals .... 25% less of everything .... LOL !!!!

Cheers,
PM

Did you email SEO about the biodegradable coffins I posted on here last week I'm sure they will be interested, we don't want you to get the credibility for ever thing after all we were here before you.

shamona - 22 Sep 2005 12:24 - 9838 of 27111

Strange to throw in an abusing comment to me at the tail of your post paul, thought you had me filtered?

I must really be getting under your skin, lol!

ps You need help.

shamona - 22 Sep 2005 12:27 - 9839 of 27111

Someone on another site pointed out that this was Stanelcos 18th rns in two months, i'm not about to waste time verifying but if true it explains why each new one is being treated with a healthy dose of salt.

No Greenseal at 35k per machine no sustained sp, it's really that simple.

greyhound

Don't you worry son, this lot will announce each and every conversion.

Greyhound - 22 Sep 2005 12:39 - 9847 of 27111

Thanks Shamona, but I disagree.

Judging from recent press comment, I thought psycopath's made good traders! Not wishing to cast asperations on anyone!

RNSs are expensive. Perhaps better diverted to delivering orders?

shamona - 22 Sep 2005 13:06 - 9850 of 27111

You'll need people to place the orders first, that appears to be the BIG problem here.

I've always said no one will pay 35k a year for rf sealing, perhaps they'd pay a one off fee but recurring payments will be seen as too costly in the industry.

ps Forget the bluff about the cost savings, no independant evidence exists to back this up.
