If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

What about a streaming alerts page. It would be a list of Epics and limits for the bid and ask or a % of those, a volume alert and importantly a news alert. If an alert was triggered then an audible bleep could be made and or a field against the stock made to flash. This might save me from having several stock watch pages up.

Haystack,
I will pass this onto the tech guys.

Thanks.
The actual limits would not necessarily have to be visible. Just the epic, the price spread, an indicator field and an announcement field. You could get quite a few on a page.
I use myTrack and they have an alert system where the alerts conditions are not visible.

Any chance that dates could be added to MoneyAM articles and AFX items referenced by news searches. Search-results pages return dates and times, but individual MoneyAM and AFX pages then selected for viewing include the author's name but not the date of the article. Would be a useful addition for when articles are saved or printed off for later viewing/reading - otherwise there's no way to date them.
RNS items seem OK. (ie they include dates and times.)

Is it my imagination, or has some sort of auto-refresh or polling function recently been added to MoneyAM pages, or ads? If I go offline to concentrate on something I'm working on I usually leave some windows open, like the traders' thread, to pick up again when I next go online. Now when I turn to other things, like working in Word or Excel, I keep on getting switched back to a MoneyAM window where a dialog box awaits (telling me that the info requested is unavailable offline).
Perhaps I'm just keeping more windows open now than before, but I've only really noticed the extent of this nuisance during the last week, forcing me to close MoneyAM down every time I go offline to work on other things.
My imagination, or something new?

I haven't used the $AM news page much before, but today I was watching out for the RPI announcement at 9:30. .... but it didn't arrive.
It appeared on other sites OK. What happened? and more importantly, what else is missing?

BrianTrayda got the AFX announcement for me from somewhere else - see post 82 on today's traders thread:

UK MAY ALL-ITEMS RPI UP 0.2 PCT FROM APRIL; UP 3.0 YR-ON-YR

Sequestor,
This should be saved as a cookie on your pc and should be there when you restart your computer - it may have something to do with your security settings, but I will speak to our tech boys and see if they can shed any light.

Kaj,
there are 2 different levels of AFX, we have the lower level - as do our main competitor. I am assuming that this is the reason why it did not appear on the site, but I will look make sure and let you know.

Thanks Ian, I would have thought that the inflation figures are quite important and would have appeared on both levels, but I admit I know very little about the various news providers.

The "lower level" is realtime news only for stock-related news. For news on the economy and general news (e.g. the war in Iraq) it is delayed. The "higher level" is realtime for these items too.
As has been said many times before, MoneyAM desperately needs a proper realtime news feed, whether by AFX or someone else...

Thanks Kayak. I think I agree with you.
What is the point of subscribing to only the lower level, reading company announcements whilst being oblivious to major economic events?
