How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Never pressed the button!! Just something I didn't like about Brasil that put me off and they certainly were not playing like such hot favorites.
See how the next few minutes go before lumping on......

I expect them to come out firing 2nd half so wont do anything until then. The japs wont sit back as they need 2.

I laid Croatia at 1.35 ish, backed them for green all around at 5.3 , laid the draw (for 1/3 of my draw profit) at 1.5 and then that POLL ruined it!! Still made a decent profit tho!!
Nice evenings work and got betfair to work on my new N70!! :)

As an avid lurker I thought I was starting to get the hang of what you lot do until I caught up on the last 70 posts.

Chocolat, don't worry, I have a natural talent for confusing things!
Whats on the agenda for today then boys & girls?
Ukraine look very good value, and France and Spain have to be the bankers of the day.

try this,
BACK england 100 @ 2.48 = 248
then IFFFFFFFFFFFF (LOL) england scores you divide 248 by lay price (1.37) as in mr euros example above.
248 divided 1.37 = LAY 181 -------- and you cannot lose

my opinions on today fwiw
Spain, look a shoe in but like brazil couldnt back at such a skinny price when they have nothing to play for and are likely to rest several players
Ukraine, a draw guarantees there qualification but would expect them to win, though victory for Tunisia would see them qualify instead
Switzerland v South Korea is a winner takes all game for qualification as top of the group, a draw would be enough for Switzerland but would likely see South Korea eliminated (assuming France win comfortably)
France have to win, and by 2 goals at least to guarantee qualification (if the other game is a draw). Have looked poor so far and couldnt back at 1.18 on what ive seen though they may be better off without Zidane being replaced by Ribery
Of those, Ukraine is prob the only side at the price i would want to get involved in but will watch first few mins before getting involved. There maybe more value today in the over 2.5 goals market
In Group H (Spains group), all the games so far have had 4 goals scored in them and there is every chance this will continue. The overs price at 2.1 in the Ukraine game looks good value, tho the 1.67 in the spain game looks skinny - if no early goals would look to back around the 2.0 mark
Likewise in the france game id rather back overs at the price than siding with france at 1.18
