dd,
Fingers crossed for a full recovery then. Always felt bikes were too vulnerable, my father was banged up good on a bike and spent a year in and out of hospital, put me right off.

dd,
If you were doing that you must remember, change plug every 200 miles, change piston every 3 months?? Like most people forgot to back off oil injector from run-in mode and leave plume of blue smoke half a mile behind you, nudged any memories??

dd,
Be positive, if you hadn't got all that to look back on you wouldn't be old enough to be "treating yourself more", can't have it both ways.

Not really, as mentioned above, and I was always more into cars anyway, my sense of balance suffices to ensure I don't fall off cars, not sure it would be good enough to achieve the same on a bike.

dd,
Weather is not too bad, the only thing they haven't managed to **ck-up, but I am sure they are working on it. Latest stunt is to refurbish roads at great expense, then shut them! Many four-lane roads are sprouting unused cycle-lanes as a means of constricting the traffic to one lane either way, then they say there is a congestion problem!! A recent trend has been to replace bus-stop lay-bys with pavements extended outwards, to prevent traffic passing the bus while it is picking up and letting off passengers. If you were to write this stuff for a tv comedy it would be thrown out as too stupid and unrealistic.

i dont no,it sounds daft ,they say these new found idear`s are going to come to all the major city`s soon ,hope not.
i understand the traffic problems we have, but there has to be other ways around it.

dd,
It is simple really, all you need is an administration that has a deep-seated desire to destroy the town / city you live in and you will have the same as us. I would be more than happy to lend you ours on a permanent basis.
