Covers ASTM approved suppliers, do not see Starpol 2000 on there. Paul I think this is relevant to Starpol 2000, will you check with SEO or am I missing something ?

natureworks is an astm approved supplier under resins.

OK still confused.

1) Is Biotec supplying Starpol 2000 to Natureworks

or 2) is Natureworks supplying a component to Biotec to make the necessary film to make Starpol 2000 ?

If Starpol 2000 is to be used in the USA still feel it will need to be ASTM approved for at least the state of California to have an impact.

Just for everyones info have 532,000 shares so trying to get my head round the above and should have done earlier research regarding ASTM.

Any help guidence appreciated.

Next question, why would Walmart sign with Stanelco. SEO only offer a small part of what they want. Surely Walmart will sign with one of the majors such as Cargill (Natureworks) who can offer them a variety of Non Oil plastic alternatives. If this is the case I can see Biotec / SEO being a supplier to Natureworks in lieu of Walmart direct. (In any event still a major deal for SEO i.e. pretty much the same as the deal with supplying SP Metals with the Biotec products)

Walmart do not want to be dealing with tens and tens of suppliers, they will surely want to cut this down to as little as possible and use their purchasing power against these fewer suppliers.

My own thoughts but would appreciate some others guidence.

Also asked some stupid questions on Earthshell on FYB when I got the circular containing BIOTEC purchase, for which Paul was kind enough to answer for me at the time. BBs are supposed to be a source of info. If I dont know something I keep asking until I get my head round it.

By the way did buy into Earthshell at 1.84 and now 2.40, so not too bad.

Brandname, I think exactly the same, for the same reasons as you do. I have several times pointed out that there's a rumor that SEO buys rawmaterials from NW in order to make Starpol for NW who will then sell it to WM. Nevertheless, there's still the sealing process which, I believe, can only be licensed from SEO directly (or use by buying a new machine). WM already deals with thousands of suppliers, one more is not going to make a difference.

Thanks for that, but I was thinking along the lines of the upcoming conference and about how Walmart are going to hopefully announce their green inistiatives etc etc . Not being a party pooper, but it would make more sense for Walmart to sign with someone like Natureworks because of the vast number of Green type products against SEO's, but with SEO announcing a licensing deal to on Greenseal to Natureworks or another big corporation in the same field at Natureworks. But feel more likely to be Natureworks hence rerelease of Natureworks news recently.

Who cares whether Walmart sign direct with SEO or with Natureworks, either way SEO will enormously benefit.

However still trying to understand is Natureworks supplying Biotec or is it the other way round. Sorry if some of u know the answer I cannot clarify in my own mind what it is.

I see andy is getting a bit nervous now that he is out in a big way he doesn't want positive posts at the moment, willing the sp down (please to 12p) so he can get back in. The problem of being out is you have to keep your eyes peeled, because if a large deal comes the sp will shoot past his selling price, andy I have no problem with taking profits but after all you said about SEO you should have stuck with it.

With little else to do today, I wandered into a nearby ASDA. Not too much Greenseal about but I was pleased to notice the entire "ASDA Smart Price" range of ready meals was sealed with the narrow weld line - Greenseal! All these products were marked "NEW" and appear to be a budget/value series of dishes.

Encouraging...

I expected the blatant out and out rampers to have a go but not you, am I the enemy because my short-term view has changed and I've taken some good profit?
I'm not in this to make you happy but to make money, I honestly believed this would produce the goods more quickly but like it or not its not happening and IMO the market is taking a dim view of reduced profit forecasts and delays in confirming deals and so I've locked in SOME profit, whats your problem?
Should I not post what my current opinion is when it changes positive or negative?
Currently I am both, short-term concerns at sp and long-term positive.
If I was a ramper (are you suggesting that?) I would have sold at 30p and laughed.
I've never said that I now want 12p have I? I don't mind being wrong and paying >20p again, with profit locked in and potential to make more again.
I remain an investor in SEO with cash ear-marked for more SEO again.
Cashed profit now being used for my family, cash retained for further investment.

I think Biotec may well supply Starpol 2000 back to Natureworks, and they will make it into trays and film for Wal_mart, and Wal-Mart will buy Greenseal from Stanelco to seal it.

Starpol 2000 product is probably the only cost effective, functional, biodegradable, compostable from replenishable source material for MAP packaging in the world and it can only be sealed without cross-linking, by using RF. It can also be used for a host of other food packaging uses.

RE ASTM, does the law cover food packaging or just carrier and waste bags ??

No mention of manufacturer. I thought of that, but all the packaging said was "Made for Asda" and gave an address in Leeds - ASDAs presumably.
