Hello traders!

In the US tonight, the Dow closed down 3.58 points at 13,888.96, while the
S&P500 was off 1.16 points at 1,540.08 and the Nasdaq Composite rose 6.64
points to 2,799.31.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei ended the morning trading session 1.6% lower at
16,834.11. Hong Kong markets are closed for a public holiday.

The November oil contract settled at a record $89.47 a barrel on the New York
Mercantile Exchange Thursday. It recently was trading at $89.55 on the electronic
market after coming off the $90.02 intraday record.
