THE COMPANY
CHELFORD CHR:
Build mid-market supply chain solutions Business for specific vertical markets through acquisitions and organic growth.
The company is Expected to report profit of around 0.8m on around turnover of 10.3Million for Dec 31st.
Cash in bank stands at 650,000.
Word of caution is there is a very thin market and the share can move on little Trading volume.
For a penny share as low as 2p the potential for rise from current levels is excellent.
Recovery in the Chelford's strategy appears in tact now and we are seeing investors coming back in, All time high has been 6p, once it surpasses the 6P, we are in new territory.
If the Chelford's share price were to rise to even 10-20p in 2004, thats way more than what any FTSE250 stock is going to return to me this year.
Realistically Yes, Chelford - It's a risk like any other penny stock, but I sense and think the return/risk ratio is worth it, besides most of the shares I trade are risky but the returns have always been well and truely worth the excitment...moreover I think this is the right to buy, i.e Before Joe Investor decides to get in.
My opinions and always wise to do ones research as always..Have a good nite all...
Good Night all...Jules99.

TRADING STATEMENT RECENT - Very positive 2004 indeed!
Chelford Group PLC
12 January 2004
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 12 January 2004
Chelford Group plc
PERIOD-END TRADING UPDATE
Chelford Group plc ('Chelford'), the IT supply chain software and services
company, today provides an update on its performance for the year to 31 December
2003.
Chelford has made good progress in 2003, achieving a significant improvement
over the preceding year. The market has remained challenging throughout the year
but is now expected to move forward more strongly in 2004.
The SSI Division has been profitable for the whole year and Chelford SAP
Solutions achieved profitability in the second half of 2003. As a result,
Chelford will have achieved a profit before tax and goodwill amortisation for
2003 as a whole. Moreover, cash flow in the second half was positive and
Chelford has ended the year with net cash of 1.35 million (2002 : 1.07
million).
2004 has started well, with order intake during the closing weeks of 2003 strong
within both the SSI and SAP Solutions divisions. Contracted orders already
account for some 70% of Chelford's operating costs for the coming year.
Trevor Lewis, Chelford's Chief Executive, stated :
'After a challenging 2003, our marketplace appears to be stabilising and the
time needed to convert potential orders into signed contracts is becoming
noticeably shorter. An improved order pipeline within both the SSI and SAP
divisions together with the strong order intake in recent weeks gives us
increased confidence for our 2004 financial year.'
Chelford expects to announce its results for the year to 31 December 2003 in
mid-March 2004.

With SAP licensing sales up Globally this year exceeding Expectations, this is following a very positive outlook SAP statement just recently this year.
On this news alone Chelford Group, this small growing organisation is set to gain massive, the share still stands at just 2p!!!, giving the opportunity to small investors like myself a great and worthwhile investment IMHO. I do hold and expect to do so until they become Adult hood..
The consensus by Brokers this month is HOLD as more gains are to follow, so good news if you hold already!
FULL YEAR RESULTS - EARLY/MID MARCH so not long to go now...holders in for a real treat if expectations for future are surpassed!!!

A rise on the BUY side kicking in again, needs to break 2.4p/2.7p mark, for further gains...could well do it, if the buyers start to pour in again..

still waitin for it to break past current levels to new heights towards and past 2.4p/2.7p touching 3p would be exciting stuff..
patience required holders..though it could happen very easily as we know..

It look's as though the MM's are just as excited as we are. MM's are keen to keep the ASK price on an upwards trend whilst moving the bid up and down to encourage buyers and sellers. The spread is also large - intended to off put those wishing to sell thus maintaining the upward trend in slow ticks. ALL in all I think CHR will produce results positive for the MM's and the small shareholder.
KEEP WATCHING AND BE PATIENT. THE BEST THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT !!!!

I too have high hopes for CHR. Big transaction went through at close which is probably profit taking.
A Break through 2.25 should be very interesting.

A very positive last few hours, I even managed to top up before the rise.
With some positive press in one of the "Sundays" - next week could be a good one.
Anyone know the date the results will be out?

Could see Fridays rise continue this morning and into the week, or it may be that they were tipped this weekend?? if anyone knows please copy n paste any info, thanks..
The results are in 3 weeks roughly, and they're going to be very bullish indeed...SAP licence sales is one key reason...
Can see Chelford Group going up well before the results, may reach towards breaking 3p today, one never knows the demand when joe blogga catches on, that results are due soon...
bets on hitting 3p this morning...I'll hold my kneck out...have a nice day all...

Investors considering Chelford should read the annual report, obtainable free via F.T.(Wilink). This excellent report, coupled with Strong Buy recommendation from brokers Arbuthnot and directors' share buys, persuaded me to climb aboard.
The next A.R. should appear in March and if it builds upon the current one, we are in for an exciting run. Maybe leakage ahead of publication is driving the share price. Meanwhile, Chelford has just appeared on the radar at Trendwatch.
