mtld1 - 03 Nov 2004 20:44

Surprised no MoneyAm BB yet ???

janesteve - 04 Nov 2004 16:58 - 2 of 29

nicely up again today....a lot of buying going on at the moment....rumours of finding oil and just raised money for oil exploration

hughlss - 05 Nov 2004 09:43 - 3 of 29

a nice rise today too!
time to get on board - the market cap. is low (3.6 million and rising) - and the rumours alone should fuel a significant share price rise.

janesteve - 05 Nov 2004 16:05 - 4 of 29

up 0.75 again now.....seems to have further to go

LONDON (AFX) - Zari Resources PLC said that Cambrian Mining PLC now holds a 5.8 pct stake in the company, totaling 13,333,333 shares.

The holding was acquired by way of subscription in the placing of new ordinary shares announced on Nov 2.

It seems that all of these companies are incestuously linked. They all seem to own a piece of each other!

RAB BEHIND THEM ALL

jayes - 27 Nov 2004 09:06 - 14 of 29

Anyone have any ideas about the crazy volume traded on Friday??

iturama - 01 Dec 2004 07:21 - 15 of 29

With today's announcement the reason for the volumes is more clear. Interesting that Morgan Stanley would take such an interest.

proptrade - 01 Dec 2004 09:34 - 16 of 29

i know, my gut feeling is that they have taken the stock from a client...hard to imagine they went directly into the market. then again, maybe they did...

grandadg90 - 06 Dec 2004 15:52 - 17 of 29

Hiya Proptrade,

Just want to know are you in this one. What is your take on this one.

Regards

proptrade - 06 Dec 2004 16:06 - 18 of 29

grandadg90

my take on this is pretty simple. I have been tracking the nexus of ownership and cross directorships that RAB Capital is holding and it makes interesting reading. RAB seem to be close to alot of hot placements and between Cambrian, Asia Energy, West Canadian and a few others, there timing seems to be uncanny.

their involvement in Zari therefore registered on my radar and i am still undecided about buying in. the problem is that there is a pretty obvious bubble in the resource sector and some of the s*%t (excuse my french) has floated with the quality. i think any involment in these names means you have to stay on your toes, but as with some of these names 2, 5 or 10 baggers may still be out there. this is especially temping when the stock has a tiny cap to start with. i am an ex-prop trader from a top tier firm and have seen the likes of these stocks all over the world and am ALWAYS wary about management having a quick float on the likes of AIM to take advantage of a vogue market play.

My best advise is have a scrappy position. enough for a bit of interest but also enough you can afford to completely write off. ie if you standard investment size is 10,000 then i would have no more than a couple of grands worth for fun.

hope that helps and i will tell you if i decide to punt along
