Spaceman - 01 Apr 2008 07:42 - 20502 of 24230

Dont worry I have just been out and bought some fresh croissant and apricot jam and there is fresh tea and coffee on the bar.

optomistic - 01 Apr 2008 08:26 - 20503 of 24230

Morning Spacie, the eccles cakes are in the eccles cake tin.

stockbunny - 01 Apr 2008 08:47 - 20504 of 24230

Socrates - 01 Apr 2008 08:54 - 20505 of 24230

Good morning one and all.

optomistic - 01 Apr 2008 08:59 - 20506 of 24230

Morning Socs....and Bunny

jeffmack - 01 Apr 2008 09:24 - 20507 of 24230

pinch, punch and all that.

Special morning kisses to bunny

KEAYDIAN - 01 Apr 2008 09:36 - 20508 of 24230

Groan, whwere's my breakfast?

I hate these early starts.

Socrates - 01 Apr 2008 09:45 - 20509 of 24230

FEB today. A nice, hearty meal to set me up for the day.

Actually managed to spot the Beeb's April Fool article day, I usually fall for them hook, line and sinker. I still think their best was the spaghetti harvest spoof.

stockbunny - 01 Apr 2008 12:13 - 20510 of 24230

Thank you Jeffie but sadly my purse is empty so you can't borrow a fiver....
;>)

Keaydian - breakfast is on the counter.
Socco - the greyhounds on skates and flying penguins on Breastfast News this morning was fairly good too!

Socrates - 02 Apr 2008 08:56 - 20511 of 24230

I never saw the greyhounds on skates, I would probably have believed that!

OK, nice cup of tea and a bowl of gruel.

One of my investments has just been hit with an after-market announcement of an agreed buy-out. Very sudden and no hint of it beforehand, where is the fun in that, I ask you?

KEAYDIAN - 02 Apr 2008 08:59 - 20512 of 24230

I don't want tea.

Socrates - 02 Apr 2008 09:00 - 20513 of 24230

Dont have it then!

KEAYDIAN - 02 Apr 2008 09:01 - 20514 of 24230

Oh ok.

optomistic - 02 Apr 2008 09:01 - 20515 of 24230

Tough that is Socs, no bidding.....all cut and dried. All parties happy with good pay off or contining jobs.
Shareholder takes what he is given, like it or not!
Had the same happen to me with Mecca years ago.

optomistic - 02 Apr 2008 09:02 - 20516 of 24230

I want some tea.

KEAYDIAN - 02 Apr 2008 09:15 - 20517 of 24230

I don't

Socrates - 02 Apr 2008 09:50 - 20518 of 24230

Poor Keaydian, it did look a bit curt didn't it! I was merely trying to say that tea was not mandatory, there is coffee too, if that is preferred.

Opto
The co is CGO, the deal is quite good as an instant 30% rise but I had higher longer term hopes. Still, I will be able to re-invest the money, anyone recommend a good nag for the National?

stockbunny - 02 Apr 2008 10:30 - 20519 of 24230

Morning Chaps, how are we all today then?
I'll have tea please Socco and a warm apple danish :>)

Socrates - 02 Apr 2008 11:02 - 20520 of 24230

'Morning Bunny. I'm constructing a sausage casserole with onion gravy for lunch. Sherry trifle for pud.
