Good morning all, up at crack of sparrows tday. Tea's ready.

optomistic - 15 Apr 2008 08:19 - 20663 of 24230

OK, large pot please Socs.

Socrates - 15 Apr 2008 08:30 - 20664 of 24230

One large pot coming up. I assume you mean tea-pot and not plant-pot, Opto.

I did a clean out of my portfolio the other day. Got rid of some dross and re-invested. As per usual, despite doing all the checks and charts on my new stocks, immediately I bought, down went the SP. I am getting to the point where I almost feel it necessary to apologise to stockholders for buying into their companies.

zzz zzz zzz zzz

optomistic - 15 Apr 2008 08:39 - 20666 of 24230

Socs, it runs down me shirt when I tried a plant pot!
As for stocks going down when you buy them, don't you know that's what happens ;-)
Just a zzzzz to K :-)

Socrates - 15 Apr 2008 08:46 - 20667 of 24230

Thanks Opto, I'm glad it isn't just me with my stock picking. I must admit I was taking to a friend the other day who admitted to making a small amount of cash out of share trading. Problem was he had started with a larger amount.

KEAYDIAN - 15 Apr 2008 12:35 - 20668 of 24230

Can I have lunch in bed?

optomistic - 15 Apr 2008 12:37 - 20669 of 24230

Bunneeeeee....K would like lunch in bed.

stockbunny - 15 Apr 2008 12:41 - 20670 of 24230

Yes and I would like Pierce Brosnan but such is life Keaydian ;>)
Lunch is served IN THE BAR.....
nice charcoal chicken fillets with red peppers, onions and garlic, chips (if you must) new tatties for the rest of us.....

:>)

Socrates - 15 Apr 2008 14:06 - 20671 of 24230

Can I have chicken fillets without the charcoal, please.

stockbunny - 15 Apr 2008 14:55 - 20672 of 24230

Certainly Socs, I'll just scrap off the burnt bits ;>)

KEAYDIAN - 15 Apr 2008 15:24 - 20673 of 24230

:o(

I'll go hungry then.

stockbunny - 15 Apr 2008 16:09 - 20674 of 24230

You only have to come out of bed keaydian and trot into the bar, may even be a Guinness as well if you can manage it....

KEAYDIAN - 15 Apr 2008 16:31 - 20675 of 24230

(Woooooosh) I'm here.

stockbunny - 15 Apr 2008 16:32 - 20676 of 24230

Amazing.....enjoy :>)

Spaceman - 16 Apr 2008 00:31 - 20677 of 24230

We won the treasure hunt ! ;-)

I have got a cold ;-(

Its hot here.

Socrates - 16 Apr 2008 09:08 - 20678 of 24230

Good morning all. Strange weather here today. If I look out of my back door there is a lovely blue sky and sunshine. Whereas from my front door is grey sky and thick fog. Very odd, what? Horror movie weather.

Tea and FEB please.

optomistic - 16 Apr 2008 09:35 - 20679 of 24230

Socs, it looks like you are going to have to make your own FEB this morning....again.

Socrates - 16 Apr 2008 09:51 - 20680 of 24230

Oh dear, the service in here is not what it was. OK, I'll get frying and grilling. If anyone else wants an FEB, speak now or forever hold your piece, whoever she is!
