Why are we again at 10.5p bid?
It doesn't add up...
Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop
Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!
Why sell now at a loss?
Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!
Best of luck all.

e-Bay's Q3 results statement yesterday "along with a strong performance by PayPal"
PayPal relies on RTD for its credit risk management. PayPal is RTDs largest customer. PayPal's strong performance reflects very well on RTD.

Probably the most important factor I have noticed over the last month, is the momentum in enthusiasm, this has now replaced the dreary doom & gloom (deramping in some cases) we were seeing on various forums. People are starting to sit up and pay attention to this GOLDEN opportunity and I expect there are a lot of investors just waiting for a little news, before they jump aboard.
It makes absolute sense to hold. Rather than listen to our ramblings, all you need to do is research RTD and see the real potential for yourself?
...
Just to remind you where RTD used to be, take a quick look at the chart:
Ok so it's been in the doldrums for some time, but RTD is starting to show signs of a turnaround. They have made good progress in the first-half 2003 (see the upturn in the chart), winning a number of new contracts and going by a statement released recently, they expect to be making further announcements in the very near future. What the chart clearly demonstrates is the climb out, not very steep atm, but you never know when it might come, I want to make sure I'm there when it does.
Another recent statement saw the group report its first interim pre-tax profit since its formation, maybe it wont be to far fetched to suggest they may even consider making acquisitions sooner rather than later (you never know).
I think we will all be rewarded handsomely in the near future. No way am I parting with my rather large block, in fact I have only recently topped up with another 20K. I agree with guysands sentiment that it is better to hold & lose some time rather than money, wise words indeed. The next month or two should be very interesting, to say the least.
Best of luck all!

should have an informal update around january for the march results.
As oil price is still high and Christmas coming up, results should be pretty good. If RTD can just announce a contract or 2. Or a major contract.
If contract plus good results by january, then this share could rocket. And i don't mean 20p!!!!

Absolutely, scotinvestor and martincoops :)
The last final results were released on the 11th March 2003 but just like the interim results on the 9th September 2003 they should post news like that posted on the 7th July 2003 (quote: "Retail Decisions sees H1 profits ahead of expectations, revenues up 10 pct"), which I think is why scotinvester is refering to January as a good time for boosting the confidence level because that news was released two months before the interim's and therefore similar news should be released before the final's. Then of course there is the AGM Statement in May but just like 2003, I would imagine various contract wins would be announced asap!
Thats my opinion.
Good luck all!

eBay piles up the cash
By Drew Cullen
eBay has had a barnstorming Q3 with net income up 69 per cent year on year to $103.3 million on sales up 84 per cent to 530.9 million,
The US e-tailer-cum-fraudster's paradise reports strong sales overseas, especially in Germany, the UK and South Korea. And it's gung-ho about prospects for the holiday season - you can even buy eBay gift certificates now.
eBay is sitting on a $2.6bn mountain of cash. Surely, it's time to start paying dividends. After all, the company can't sustain growth at this rate for forever, can it? But from the noises that CFO Rajiv Dutta is making, the company looks like it has some other things in mind. In a conference call, he said the company is considering acquisitions.
"We have enormous potential," he said. "We were struck by the number of extremely attractive opportunities that lie ahead."

Ahhhh!
Help! Anyone out there a previous Nothing Ventured user? They've sold out to Fastrade and we've all been moved over to that site.
What a mess - this Fastrade site is crap. I'm so pissed off I can hardly type this message. NV was such a brilliant trading tool and now we've got this. What the hell are they playing at. Couldn't those numbskulls at Charles Stanley see that the NV site was much superior to there own and use that instead and just stick their Fastrade badge onto it.
Any ex-NV users please let me know what your thoughts are today.
I have started a new thread to discuss the NV/Fastrade issue.
Please post your comments there as I intend to email them all to Fastrade to let them know how dissatisfied we are. This is the link:
http://www.moneyam.com/InvestorsRoom/ShowPostList?fID=1&tID=1430
or search under the epic code of NV.
The title of the thread is Nothing Ventured vs Fastrade.
Many thanks.

There does seem to be a few big trades going in on this stock. Having closely monitored the trading in this stock I am now begining to believe that manipulation of this stock has been going on as mentioned in previous articles here. Very clever. Thanks to all for filling a gap in my education.

With all this positive feeling and buying, a mirror image of ZOO or MMD, is surely, only around the corner.

I agree Nitefly
Also, looking at the chart, it looks as though RTD should rocket skyward very soon to 20p and beyond. Just one little bit of news will send it.
Anyway as long as everyone holds on until Dec/Jan, I'm sure they will be rewarded. Just need to be patient on quiet days like today.

Absolutely :)
From the article posted by Guy (guysands), you can really see why it shoots up on news and no news. Until the day that the MM's execute their plan or RTD post their own news then this will remain as is, I should imagine (only in my opinion!). Even long/large buying spree's make very little difference when they really should do.
I do believe ZOO and MMD will be hiked down again though, because, once the MM's have sold their shares (i.e. We have bought them all) and got a very good price for them, then there is no other reason for the MM to run the risk of buying shares from the clever traders that also try and sell their shares at the same time while ripping the one's that think it will go higher, off (which is really should go higher, given a fair chance).
It is silly really because this is not the way it's supposed to work. If a company is running economically and making money it should have every chance at gaining strength. Instead the MM's shaft the company and all the traders to line their pockets because they can :/
As already said, this is only my opinion!
Good luck to all!
