Oddly, so do I, Socs. Don't know what all that markdown was about last week. Weird

Great minds etc. Mind you, I'm a little concerned about the market in general, not much confidence around but there are still a good number of stocks that look undervalued. Hope springs eternal.
Well, the cat's just gone out so It's bedtime for me. I'll be back on line around 16:30 tomorrow, goodnight Vasey.

Late? I said around 16:30, that's not bad. It's not as if I kept anyone waiting.
Hi Hilary. Old mans convention indeed, and just who was it said she was too old for the chandelier?

I was only pulling your leg about being too old for the chandelier, socs. Didn't want to get your blood pressure racing too high.
:-)
Did you get my mail through the am internal, btw?

Coffee and dough nuts, please.
Some of those new fangled American ones.
The ones that make you die early.

Krispy Kreme doughnuts is a company EK was shorting for a long time. I can't remember if he was successful or not. The yanks love the product apparently.

hello Jules99, you found the Tea Rooms then, welcome.
Looks like a blue day tomorrow, Socs.....so maybe a glass of champagne? Hope the cold is easing up now and you will be able to appreciate the elegance of this extremely expensive bottle!

Yes I could do with a kicker of a blue day. I am just a gnats leg away from my portfolio cost line being crossed by the value line (my version of a golden cross), then I shall feel I'm really motoring. As for the bubbly, I keep the very best for you but to be honest it gives me heartburn. I'll settle for a half decent sweet Cava. Looks like I'll have to keep the cold Chablis on one side, I think Hilary has gone to bed early.
Jeffmack
Yes I saw it, didn't say a lot did it? I was just having a forage around in Companies House today. Wiggins still listed there, interestingly there are five (I think) Planestation companies also listed.
Also looked at the LSE site, Wiggins still listed as 'Construction Other' and still showing as suspended. I just had the thought that there might have been some change that had gone un-noticed.
Right, that's it for tonight. I'm off to Bedfordshire, g'night all.

Socs Good night
I must admit I am finding it hard to find undervalued companies at present.
I have looked at companies in the manufacturing industry who have switched prodution from the uk to cheaper parts of the world.
However I am rather fussy at the moment and the couple that turned up were not in sectors I like.
The best I came across was AXD but not 100% comitted.
PTO is worth a look IHHO...........
