I have installed a couple of USB wireless network devices from Bluetake (www.bluetake.com) They seem to talk to each other, but not completely sure. Don't seem to be able to set up network on PC and laptop to use them. Any ideas?

I want to set up a wireless way of connecting my laptop to ISDN (BT Homehighway). i don't want to have a PC as a dedicated comms server type thing - I just want to be able to use my Laptop anywhere in the house connected to the net.

I have found the ZoomAir Internet gateway thing that does it I think:

but does anyone out there use it or have any other alternatives. there seems to be loads of wireless broadband stuff out there but not much ISDN.

I was in my local PC World on Friday. They had Proview 17" c/w speakers for 297. I don't think they are that good a quality, but FYI and all that!

It seems they are plummeting in price now.

The Sharp 17" tft that Croc recommends are available on e-buyer from 295 plus VAT & delivery - approx 350 all told. I'm trying to decide whether to have one like that and get a second later or 2 15" ones now.

Simply had some good deals on a 15" Mitac tft, model 15DX3, limited stocks, 3 yr on site swap warranty on their e-mail letter. They had it at 159+VAT = 186.83 (Plus deliv I assume). No idea of the spec though. edit see below:

bristolbaz - if that is your size and price range I would recommend considering the NEC 1535vi. Excellent spec for @234 - around 100 less than 6months ago :-( when I got mine but I'll have another when I'm in the market for one.

Ive got 2 AOC 17".280 each.They are as good as my old 17" Crt monitor.
I finally got Broadband today after harrasing BT To enable my exchange for the last year.Its Great!Im sure ill get used to the speed but at the moment the difference is awesome.

Sorry, misread you earlier post. I might be interested in a monitor but only if I can have it with a VAT invoice. I'll just check the specs & do a comparison - if I want one I'll let you know. Very tempted by the Sharp ones, seem incredibly bright.

Just gotta new PC , just the box with lots of goodies inside P4 2.4gz,1gb ram, 40gb HD and 80 GB HD, DVD burner, and lots more!!

anyway, i start the bugger up, put windows 2000 cd in then boot it up again.
it boots up from cd, i format the 40gb HD with the one that aint FAT32 and continue the install of windows onto that drive.
Does its stuff, comes back and say if disk in A remove it ( nothing in there), and machine will reboot in 15 secs.
It reboots, says no emulation and says press enter to boot from CD, if i boot i go back to the start again, if i dont the machine hangs!!
