Thanks again Blanche,

Will try it again, but it only appears to give me the last 5 trades.

garyble - 22 Mar 2009 22:02 - 26822 of 27111

Kim, spot on....the kiss of death for any share!

Fred1, my third eye had nothing to do with it!

kimoldfield - 24 Mar 2009 00:05 - 26828 of 27111

It's ok garyble theres two of us that need our butts kicked, I got the weeks muddled in my head and thought results day was last thurs and sold the day before with a minor profit. could have doubled if left till yesterday. Thats life!!

hewittalan6 - 24 Mar 2009 08:52 - 26831 of 27111

After this mornings fall, I've been checking on garyble's CV;

Recently he has held the following posts;
Head of lending risk @ Northern Rock
Investment strategist @ HBOS
Advisor to the Treasury - Iceland
Todd Cartys head trainer @ Dancing on Ice
Senior growth specialist @ Woolworths
Founder of the charity, the honest MP's trust.

Now the bugger has bought SEO shares............;-)

garyble - 24 Mar 2009 12:31 - 26832 of 27111

Thanks guys, I fully expect this to continue its new trend all the way back to the 0.3p range.

Unfortunately I added to the 1.5m shares I've held for the past 4 years and swore never to dabble again with this, but to hopefully recoup most of the >100k I've lost on this bugger.

If nothing else, it's served to reduce my breakeven price a little.

World famous environmentalist David Bellamy explained the benefits of biodiversity and habitat creation to children at two Bedfordshire schools, and planted trees donated by Marchant Manufacturing and Stanelco BioPlastics, manufacturers of compostable bags.

Tree Appeal is managing the environmental initiative, set up by Marchant Manufacturing, which is working to make the compostable bags used by Central Bedfordshire Councils Waste Team, even greener.

By donating trees, Marchant Manufacturing and Stanelco BioPlastics are offsetting their environmental footprint, helping their customer contribute to the balance of the natural world, and educating local children about their environment, claim the firms.

Children at both Russell Lower School in Ampthill and Southlands Lower School in Biggleswade produced imaginative drawings about the event showing their understanding of recycling food waste and the importance of trees.

Sneak Preview of results;

Financial Highlights;

Following redundancies, costs offset by flogging the spare desks on E-Bay

Beating the banks - debt is still classed as bad but no worse than last year

Cleaning ladies hours reduced to cut staff costs by 20/week

Got enough from the Germans to cover 2008 christmas party

Other Highlights;

No-one is trying to sue us

Did a good deal with B&Q for bulk buying of trees for David Bellamy to give away

Forward looking statement;

We have been talking to some people who might be interested and might buy something from us at some point in the future.
Re-brand of biodegradable products - now to be called political integrity in bag form and bank balance in sheet form.
Expect to be profitable , just not sure when.

Chairmans Statement;

"I am pleased to announce these results to the markets".

This isn't a highlight -It's the whole statement.

kimoldfield - 25 Mar 2009 09:51 - 26835 of 27111

You missed one Alan.

The seal on our Greenseal tray has turned green so we may have to through it in the bin, er, we mean compost it; we think.

greekman - 25 Mar 2009 11:53 - 26836 of 27111

Alan,

Can you please get back to being serious.

I have a cunning plan.

I have suggested to Gordon Brown via e-mail that they approach Stanelco to produce biodegradable bank notes. The idea being that so many can be printed and issued making us all feel so rich we go out and spend like never before. After 6 weeks all these bank notes just disappear into thin air (where the government gets them from in the first place). This would mean that fiscal stimulus has worked as we all have items paid for but all proceeds from sales that have been placed with the financial institutions has disappeared (again) leaving no surplus money in circulation therefor leaving no danger of a return to boom and bust or inflation.
They could bundle the remains up and sell them on as financial investments.
Obviously all the bank would be responsible for the monetary loss and have to be bailed out by the government with loan notes and the like. This would mean yet another round of fiscal stimulus funded by even more Stanelco notes, which would be issued and, 'well you get the drift'.
A bit like a Ponzi scheme, which Madoff proved you could get away with for years.
Can't see any flaws in my plan but there must be a few.
Perhaps GB and AD will see the benefits of my suggestion and implement it immediately.
If implemented we could all spend our cash bonus on more Stanelco shares which would obviously easily reach that magic figure of 35.
And no I did not discuss the idea with Trev, as he would only take the credit.
I await my Knighthood.

hewittalan6 - 25 Mar 2009 13:19 - 26837 of 27111

Its been tried, greek.

I refer you to the last 20 years.

Are you a historian by any chance???

greekman - 25 Mar 2009 13:23 - 26838 of 27111

So your saying it will work. After all our illustrious rulers never learn from the past.

greekman - 26 Mar 2009 08:16 - 26839 of 27111

Results.

Looks like they are on the way up. Sales up in all areas. Cash flow OK.

Growth in total revenues - increased by 6.7m (84%)
Growth in bioplastic revenues from direct sales by Stanelco plc - increased by 1.4m (385%)
Growth in total gross margin - increased by 1.0m (52%)
Reduction in loss from operations before exceptional items - reduced by 0.3m (10%)

The looking forward (prospects) that should always be taken as just that, look excellent.
Number of sets of customer trials in BioPlastics 48
Percentage of trials leading to production orders 60% (very good figures). Makes a massive change from the old days when most if not all trials came to nothing.

New product launches in RF 5

So not in profit yet but if this progress continues at this pace profit is not far away. Looking at the rate of trials success leading to orders, momentum looks to be gathering pace at a great rate.

Whilst excepting that the company started it's climb back from very low depths, there are not many companies out there that can show such growth figures to the previous year, especially in this financial climate.

Still a long way to go.
Never thought I would say this, but well done SEO.
