This ones a heck of a specualive investment but it seems that the institutions are willing to stomp up the cash to back it in the long term.
Heres the latest news from Killik stocbrokers on the company..........
MEDICAL MARKETING Joint Venture
We recently highlighted Medical Marketing (MMG) as worthy of attention. The company, in which I have a personal share holding, has this morning announced the formation of a joint venture, Genvax, to develop a novel DNA vaccine platform technology.
Human trials have been underway since 2001 in areas such as Lymphoma and Myeloma but the technology has broad applications in cancer, viral and bacterial infections (hence the term platform). The technology works on boosting the immune system by teaching it to identify hard to recognise cancer proteins as foreign and destroy them. Early results from the 25 patient trial in lymphoma are encouraging and evaluation of the result is expected by March 2005. Successful results should mean big pharmaceutical groups will start to take financial and commercial interests around that time.
This looks to be the first of a series of announcements due from Medical Marketing as it has a range of predominantly cancer trials moving into the clinical stage. (news flow could push the price higher)
The stock has made good progress in recent sessions up to the mid-80p level where the company is valued at just under 40 million. ENDS.
Please DYOR
cheers GF.

Recieved my Feb edition of Scsw today and they mention they have visited the management of three Biotech companies this month and they will reveal more next month.I'm hoping its MMI's...because they covered them 3 years ago and then dropped coverage of them.
Neteller is the January tip of the month in their portfolio..

Expecting another 10p plus rise tomorrow ahead of Tuesdays broker presentation and if the volume continues during the rest of the week we could see 150p which is where it started back in 2001.So basically we have only begun to witness the true value of MMI's bio-babies.

Medical Marketing expands collaboration with University of Edinburgh
AFX
LONDON (AFX) - Medical Marketing International Group PLC, the Cambridge based pharmaceutical development company, said it has further expanded the collaboration between the University of Edinburgh and its wholly owned subsidiary Oncosense.
The team developing Ruthenium anticancer complexes will now include Dr James Hoeschele - a co-inventor of the platinum based chemotherapy drug Carboplatin.
Dr James Hoeschele is an acknowledged expert in the field of anti-tumour precious metal complexes, the company said.

Well done 66.
Should Scsw cover these over the next few months they could easily treble from here as most of their selections inevitably do..fingers crossed.

Yup an excelent start to the week. Just wonder how much support we will get from the city after tomorrows broker meeeting. That 4 per share target you mentioned Mitzy could be easily on as long as the markets dont hit turbulance.
cheers GF.

At least 20 brokers in attendence I applied to B to be admitted but under FSA rules no can do.Not expecting anythng new tomorrow to be frank but at least the brokers will be informed of the potential of the products under trials.
Another aspect is the press coverage or lack of it...I understand that this is about to change and very soon..this low profile is one aspect that worries me.
Share price projections..500p in the next year.
More tomorrow..
