ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Jan 19, 2011 (MANAVIGATOR via COMTEX) -- Nick Robertson, the head of UK online fashion and beauty retailer ASOS (LON:ASC), said on Wednesday that Danish Bestseller, its main supplier and shareholder with 18.3%, may still take over the company, despite denying last year interest in making an offer. Robertson told Reuters in an interview that it would be a sensible step for Bestseller to boost its holding in ASOS, as the Danish group is not strong in online retail despite being a global fashion business. Over the past year, ASOS has been rumoured to be a takeover target for Bestseller, US Internet group Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN | PowerRating) and British retailer Tesco (LON:TSCO), speculation which caused its share price to triple over the period. ASOS shares jumped 3.6% today to GBP16.06 (USD25.65/EUR19.04) giving the company a value of GBO1.18bn, Reuters said. The CEO holds 10.4% in ASOS. Country: UK, Sector: Clothing/Textiles, Consumer Products, IT/Online Services Target: Asos PLC Buyer: Bestseller Type: Corporate acquisition Status: Bidding Comment: Asos CEO sees Bestseller as potential suitor
