A group of Jewish settlers attacked on Thursday evening a Palestinian woman in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil injuring her.

Local sources said that Suzan Jamil Sultan (51 years) was wounded and bruised as a result of being attacked by a group of extremist Jewish settlers from the settlement of Kharsina which is built on land stolen from Palestinian residents to the east of al-Khalil.

The son of the victim said that the so called security men of the settlement stopped his mother on the main road of Buweirah, near the Kharsina settlement where a group of settlers assaulted her injuring her in the head and arms and causing her to lose consciousness.

She was then taken to a nearby clinic for treatment.
