The 2013 full year preliminary results for RSA Insurance Group plc was announced 27 February 2014.


"3 FOR 8 RIGHTS ISSUE AT 56 PENCE PER NEW ORDINARY SHARE
Further to the announcement on 27 February of its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2013, RSA Insurance Group plc ("RSA" or the “Company”) today announces the launch of a rights issue to raise £773 million in proceeds (£748 million net of expenses) (the “Rights Issue”). The Rights Issue is a fully underwritten 3 for 8 rights issue of 1,380,976,863 ordinary shares of 27.5 pence each in the capital of the Company at a price of 56 pence per New Ordinary Share.
The Issue Price of 56 pence per New Ordinary Share represents a discount of approximately 40% to the closing price of 93.4 pence on 24 March 2014 (being the last business day prior to the release of this announcement) and a 32.7% discount to the theoretical ex-rights price based on the closing price on 24 March 2014."

Bottom chart 'fast stochastic'

Well that didn't last long - it took one look at 110, got vertigo and promptly retreated. It will need to build strength for another push and hopefully hold a close above 110. Then it will be onwards and upwards.
On a day like to day when the rising FTSE is floating every boat, I would have hoped that we might have achieved this.

Pond, I always look at the end of the day's trading to see weir we are because RSA can keep moving wright up to 1700 hours.

It would be nice if we could above 110p for the weekend but it wont matter to me if it takes a little longer..

Through 110 at the second time of asking - and with some strength. I think that 120 should be achievable in short order with 130 my medium term target. Very nice.

At this moment in time we are over 120p, great stuff.

Back in again today. Cleared recent congestion, now its onwards and upwards to 130.

One consideration that took me out of RSA so soon was the asbestos issue, get this sorted satisfactory and anything is possible goal.

Trying to get a 5 year chart to back up my opinion but cant get it to work.
