NETeller - CASHING IN (NLR)

HUSTLER - 17 Nov 2004 20:02

NETeller - NLR - 3.15
Thought i would start a new thread following on from
hawick - new issue looks very special - not to steal the thunder from
hawick but just to highlight the company name to those not already in to this
potential blockbuster.
Those of us who are following NETeller know the background and have been
active with postings, for newcomers i strongly sugest viewing the
( new issue looks very special posting )the content will speak for itself.

Brief overview of NETeller
The company handles online cash transactions across the globe
on 21st oct gained fsa approval to operate as a regulated e-money issuer
and will passport the regulated status to all 25 EU member states
it has over 1 million clients rising by 2000 number each day
1500 online merchants and processed over $1.5 billion in 2003
pre tax profit is estimated to be 29 million to dec 04 rising to
40 million next year
per currently 20 to dec 04 falling to 11.5 which is low for sector
brokers have been raising forcasts on a regular basis
share price has risen over 50% since launch earlier this year
new markets emerging constantly, asia has the potential for supergrowth
online casinos are creating enormous profits
given all this - cash generative - huge market - fsa approval
infastructure in place to handle growth, profits accrue to bottom line
the market force is behind it with good relative strength
all put together it is hard to argue against this has the potential
to be a blockbuster over the year ahead

Dil, back in for a few at 568p. New highs will do for me but there is now a floor in place for the stop loss at 508p.

First, we are all on a learning curve. Understand your comments - been there, done that, got the teashirt (BTDTGTTS)! However, beyond reasonable doubt, you are absolutely wrong. My three main CFDs are SEO, NLR and ASC so I am with you in being convinced that ASC are over-sold, or rather over-deramped. But compare NLR and SEO. The only real difference in their graphs is that SEO are recovering lost ground, but that is from a previous incarnation. SEO have an upgraded forecast of 20p (present price rising 15p). NLR have a forecast upgraded to 12 (or os it 11 - does it matter?) by Durlacher and are approaching 6. I have used part of the margin generated by SEO CFDs to significantly increase holding in NLR. Only difference is that I have put stop loss of 5 on NLR when I wouldn't even bother to do it with SEO - but I accept that that is primarily because I know SEO that much better. I love them like Ellen loves B & Q (the Moby version).

Come on now gentlemen, lets stop talking silly about the chart of this one and ranges. I would have thought it was pretty clear that this one is a law unto itself and that the MMs have been dictating the price for the last 2 months.

Seems to me a lot of you have forgotten the different growth
areas this one is in and heading for besides gambling,

person to person money transfer market,
online banking
car auction sites
online travel
online stockbroking
online banking
online insurance and loans

cheers GF.

Welcome back Bones , good luck.

Good post. Only point I disagree with is that the MMs have been dictating market. Its been a classical situation of more buyers continuously in the market than sellers; presumably not holding much stock the only way the MMs can react is by putting the price up. When does it stop? Needn't necessarily do so this side of the horizon (mine is a couple of months!)

Eric

What can I say.

My little essay above was really no more than an illustration of how sentiment plays such a large part in our (well, my) decision-making. Now you're being all hard technical analysis. Where's your feminine side - all at sea by the looks of it with the lovely Eleanor.

You're right, but I need to go and get some lunch without feeling too sick to eat it worrying about NLR - no it wouldn't be that bad, but a little bit of that. Also the regret of not having got in earlier would be constantly reminded. Such conflict!

I am looking for SEO to go to 50p (Dynamite is my Delphic oracle here!) which is 6+ times my average buying price with little down side at current price. Whereas, NLR going to 11 is about twice the price, but my instinct tells me with consideable potential downside.

Also there is a lot of me that's really proud to be associated with what SEO are doing and a bit of me that is embarrassed to be making money the way NLR do (mind you, I'm in DFD as it happens, but they do have a "best advice" policy for a regrettably needed service). Pure sentiment, I here you all growl. Dynamite do you ever growl?

I'll buy if (when?) NLR reverses to the 350-450 range (fat chance you say, but - talking of Eleanor (what a great woman, but a bit difficult to live with, wouldn't you think?) - stranger things have happened at sea). I suppose it's what Eleanor would call buying on the dips, or troughs, she would probably call them technically.

Life is seo great today isn't it.

I know nothing.

Goldfinger, with respect, you are a seasoned promoter of shares on bulletin boards. How many times over the years have I heard a promoter say "this one is different"?

I agree about the potential for the share price of NLR but I will always preserve my capital using TA. Potential does not always translate into performance. While it's going up, it's all fine and dandy, everyone's your friend and fellow expert. It's when a share price goes down and down that I want to know when to sell. I don't want to have to come on here and say "Mr Goldfinger, when is it going up again? Should I sell?" No thank you sir!

mitzy - 09 Feb 2005 13:50 - 329 of 1341

My target was for 600p by the end of the week.. a bit on the pessimistic side I think..!

goldfinger - 09 Feb 2005 14:07 - 330 of 1341

Bones Im a big TA fan and have used several differing concepts of the art over the 20 years I have been trading and investing. Those that just ignore it are ignorant in my opinion, but if you check back through this thread there isnt one correct call on the TA of this company (yours included the other day). Not one correct call.

Some companys every now and again (not very often) have run away potential and there isnt a TA expert on this planet who can predict the future price of the share. This company with its fingers in so many pies is one of those companys.

cheers GF. By the way bones I tell people when I am selling, please check out the GMC thread and see what I said warning holders (when others around where telling everyone to buy) the other day to sell up and take profits based on experience and nothing else.

cheers GF.

gallick - 09 Feb 2005 14:15 - 331 of 1341

I agree, a lot of fuss being written about charts etc. A trailing (rolling) stop loss of say 20% makes sense (or two, one for a 10% - sell half, and one for 20% sell the other half). If I take a 20% hit, I still walk away with over 100% gain.

In the mean time don't try to call the top (because no one can) - just sit tight and ride that pony!!

A fun post! Mind, I see you have 'senior moments' like me, probably before their time! Ellen has become Eleanor; probably been romanticising or something worse. She is a fun girl, though, and what a role model! As for feminine sides, discovered my feminine sub-personality, Jung's anima, in guided meditation. Called her Erica and made the mistake of introducing her to my wife - ever since she says: why can't Erica do the supper? had to banish her: Erica that is not my wife! As for sentiment preferring SEO to NTR, can understand that. However, wonder what role sentiment has. Suspect trading, even investment cum trading, has less to do with the company and more to do with trading shares for profit. Just because the money is associated with gambling, doesn't have any effect on the money which I perceive as a neutral commodity. Go on, be a dog, and buy some stock!

Bones - 09 Feb 2005 14:28 - 333 of 1341

Thanks for your comments Goldfinger. I appreciate it.

My comment the other day about a Fibonacci retracement was not a prediction (as you seem to imply) but a way of identifying an area for a stop loss. Anyone who lived through 2000/01 would be stupid not to set one. I said it would not be a negative sign to see such a retrace but a healthy one (I suppose a retrace to 508p was fairly significant but it didn't hang about much to consolidate so plenty of hot money is still in this stock).

Anyway, as gallick says, let's see this pony gallop!

EWRobson - 09 Feb 2005 14:31 - 334 of 1341

BOnes

I would be comfortable with a canter which would help it to go the distance! Plus a decanter of my favourite Pinot Noir of course.

stockdog - 09 Feb 2005 14:35 - 335 of 1341

Bones

I am really hoping your Fibonacci retracement comes to pass, then we'll all be right - Goldfinger for being a fan of TA, you for having mentioned it, me for being able to buy NLR, Eric for thinking he persuaded me.

If old Fib can do all this with one simple retracement, just think what Fermat could have done if he hadn't lost it on margin.

Some action at the end of the day again.

A line of 400 K sale went through before close and 300K in the auction. Interesting to see how things open tomorrow.
