Great day, Socks! I'm wearing my best Chrissy prezzie...what do you think?

Was Santa good to you, Socks? Something naughty from The Lady Socks?

Vasey
I did get some socks I must admit, but from my mother. Vasey, I am sitting here imagining you in something rather fetching, verging on the saucy. No, I must snap out of it. I also received some subscriptions to magazines of my choice which I thought very practical and something I would not have bought myself.

OK, so what was it, fur coat?

vasey - 25 Dec 2003 21:34 - 3503 of 23498

I'll give you a clue....it's purple, see-through..and very eye-catching....

Now I shall not sleep at all tonight. My wife will get all suspicious and divorce me, the kids won't talk to me and the cat will run off with next doors
dog.

Crocodile
Tasty, at the very least! Did you go to the last NEC antique fair, it cost me a small fortune?

This_is_me - 25 Dec 2003 22:46 - 3506 of 23498

I got two pairs of socs too, only one of which was rude; the other was from my 6 year old 'best Dad'

Come on Vasey we want to see a picture!

Crocodile - 25 Dec 2003 22:54 - 3507 of 23498

Evening Socs, Croc, TIM et al

I am a bit of a bar humbugg but had a cracking day.

Socrates - 25 Dec 2003 23:47 - 3511 of 23498

Poor old Socco's off to beddy byes. It's been a great day as we say goodbye to another crimbles.

Tomorrow it will be cold meat in the cafe. Can't waste the leftover meat can we. Cold pork, turkey and Spam with bubble and squeak, pickles and gherkins. Lovely stuff.

Goodnight all.

Socrates - 26 Dec 2003 08:24 - 3512 of 23498

Good morning folks, I'm up for a light breakfast today. FEB available for any that want it, but I suggest some nice crisp corn flakes or a croissant or two after all that Christmas fare.

Nice hot tea and coffee all ready to help clear those bleary eyes.

Crocodile - 26 Dec 2003 09:17 - 3513 of 23498

So much Spyware is downloaded as cookies and can come from the header adverts on many Websites. They not only have the effect of slowing your computer down they also can send back confidential information from your PC. We have had a dedicated thread on this subject before but if you are interested in the subject a great site is PestPatrol which is full of information on Trojan virus's and Spyware (Norton misses 90% most of these) The basic copy is free and will inform you if you have a problem but will not automatically remove them however it will provide you with manual removal instructions. The free program also blocks new Spyware from jamming up your system

The site also has a massive database on nearly all known Trojans and Adware and how to get rid of them.

Please note there is always a small risk in using any program that changes the system registry however some PC's are only running at 50% of the speed due to Spyware! It is getting so bad now that I have changed my Cookie control in Internet explore options to prompt so I can decide which ones I will accept. Since then my stock watch lists etc have run much faster.

vasey - 26 Dec 2003 13:50 - 3519 of 23498
