THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Edwina Currie should have been put out to pasture years ago. No wonder David Cameron doesn't want too many women on his front bench.

Fred1new - 10 Feb 2014 14:10 - 36362 of 81564

DB 4,

She probably has been out in the pastures a few times.

But she would know how to deal with an old goat like Wavy Davy.

The Conservatives aren't perfect, far from it...but Labour....you have to be joking !....they should be executed for what they have done to the country !...and fancy having them back.....nooooo....

required field - 10 Feb 2014 14:31 - 36364 of 81564

If I remember correctly....not sure about this but didn't Wilson have a female transport minister that couldn't drive !.....unbelievable !...

goldfinger - 10 Feb 2014 14:36 - 36365 of 81564

RF Ill get you a memo and post it here tomorrow just to prove what a MYTH it as been blaming labour for the ills of this country.

Be prepared for a shock as it shows just what liars David Camoron and his side kick Sir Giddeon have been over the last 4 years.

Cant get it now as am on lap top at one of my businesses.

And dont forget Ive voted for both conservative and labour 50/50.

It's not a question of voting....it's governing...Labour : I'm sorry to say just make a complete mess of things....always have done...four years is not enough to turn around more than a decade of blundering around from one cock-up to another !....

goldfinger - 10 Feb 2014 14:45 - 36367 of 81564

Haystack - 10 Feb 2014 15:29 - 36377 of 81564

I know tastes are a bit different up there north of Henson.

Fred1new - 10 Feb 2014 15:30 - 36378 of 81564

RF.

Your party leader and sidekick have never had a real job in their lives and were parachuted into the leadership of the torrid party by the Old Boys' Network and doesn't it show.

The only work they seem to have had is PR work and they don't even seem good at that.

======

2517,

Barbara Castle made me shiver.

Frightening, although she wasn't a member of the torid party she would have fitted in nicely with blue rinse brigade.

But wasn't she Haze's nanny, or am I getting him mixed up with Manuel.

aldwickk - 10 Feb 2014 15:54 - 36379 of 81564

Barbara Castle was old Labour and was made a scrapgoat for the failer of the Union reform [ In Place of Strife ] .

Fred's pin up girl was the Socialist Workers Party's Vannesa Redgrave.

Now that the Thames is overflowing we may just see some of these City muppets jumping to attention. It's getting a bit close to home boys!
