THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Have you graduated from a reputable university recently? Check out our latest toilet cleaning vacancies on #universaljobmatch!

Some stupid university courses only qualify you to clean toilets.

Social workers' training too focused on theory rather than working with children

An official government report has found training for social workers focuses too much on human rights theory and not enough on actually protecting the vulnerable in practice

"Some employers told him graduate social workers were “barely literate” and students reported being taught about “social work as art” rather than directly working with children or parenting."

Can't imagine we'd ever join the EU Fred, why would we? As for Cameron ducking Salmond I don't think so, Salmond is just after publicty, what other reason is there for a live stand off... If Scotland wants to go then I for one couldn't care less, but they should go completely and not expect our central bank to be there for them when it all goes wrong... Salmond speaks an awful lot but lacks any conviction to go it alone and not ask the UK to hold his hand along the way...

Also RBS will still be owned by the UK taxpayer anyway, regardless of Central Bank.

Yep I blame Gove, everything in education as gone down the drain since he became the minister.

We're sorry for confusing our customers by having the word "job" in our name.

Haystack - 13 Feb 2014 13:48 - 36587 of 81564

Education standards are rising fast.

Max,

Should send all the delinquents and kids of problem families to Eton and Harrow.

That is where the "rich" send their problem offspring.

Look what happened to Manuel!

What about Labour's advisor who is working for them without a work permit?

Fred1new - 13 Feb 2014 14:06 - 36591 of 81564

I hope he got paid!

Haystack - 13 Feb 2014 14:08 - 36592 of 81564

They probably just gave him some union money.

goldfinger - 13 Feb 2014 14:09 - 36593 of 81564

Teresa Mays fault all these shananigans going on at our boarders. Shes useless.

Make no wonder we are overun with Rumanians and Bulgarians.

Cant move for them, all over the place taking our women aswel, a bit like the Yanks during 2nd World War.

Time she got a grip.

And time Camoron got a grip with her.

goldfinger - 13 Feb 2014 14:12 - 36594 of 81564

And what does the Landslay bloke do now that hes been kicked out of the Health Ministers job.

Gets paid for nothing.

Should put him on workfare and retrain him.

Haystack - 13 Feb 2014 14:12 - 36595 of 81564

The current government has done a better job than the labour policy of trying to find as many immigrants as possible.

goldfinger - 13 Feb 2014 14:15 - 36596 of 81564

And for that matter whats that spiffy Andrew Mitchell doing these days?.

Hows he earning a MPs salary.

goldfinger - 13 Feb 2014 14:18 - 36597 of 81564

And what about Ted Heath I havent seen him in the commons for ages.

Money for old rope for the Tory Boys.

doodlebug4 - 13 Feb 2014 14:21 - 36598 of 81564

I thought Ted Heath was dead - perhaps not.

Haystack - 13 Feb 2014 14:22 - 36599 of 81564
