THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Sorry got it Max.

No actually I think it should come out of Tory funds. They passed the stupid act.

Lets face it.......MONEY IS NO OBJECT.

MaxK - 19 Feb 2014 08:57 - 36842 of 81564

It would seem to be the case gf.

so, a separated man would need a three bedroom house/flat to accommodate his TWO kids when they visit?

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 09:02 - 36843 of 81564

Not sure about that Max. If different sex you would logicaly think so.

Ive only got the original act.

Im sure egg head will be making an appeal but I dont give him any chance.

MaxK - 19 Feb 2014 09:17 - 36844 of 81564

That's the problem with this human rights thingy, there seems to be no end to what people are entitled to, as long as somebody else is paying for it.

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 09:31 - 36845 of 81564

UNEMPLOYMENT GOES UP.

Recovery built on sand.

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 09:33 - 36846 of 81564

Max you must be factoring in some kind of compensation.

This is money taken away not given.!!!!!!!!!!!!

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 09:38 - 36847 of 81564

Andrew Neil ‏@afneil 1m
Average earnings increased by 1.1% in the year to December, 0.2% up on the previous month.
Cost of living squeeze continued through 2013.....................ends

and fiddled inflation figure is 2.8%........3% plus for most of last year.

Little wonder people are getting poorer and poorer.

Tory Sleaze.

MaxK - 19 Feb 2014 09:39 - 36848 of 81564

No, they are trying to engineer a reduction in welfare payments.

In itself that's not a bad thing.

But now the human rights thingy is in operation, that's the end of that.

Welfare spending, for all the headline horror stories, is still rising.

We cant afford it.

MaxK - 19 Feb 2014 09:42 - 36849 of 81564

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 09:51 - 36850 of 81564

Max can we afford the tax avoiders and Tax evaders then???????????????????????

Why dont the govt and the media give this the same amount of coverage as Benefits Street.

Lets say call it Criminal Greed Street.

MaxK - 19 Feb 2014 10:22 - 36851 of 81564

Agreed gf.

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 10:39 - 36852 of 81564

Cheers Max. Nice to have some one on your side.

Dont forget Im a capitalist by nature but believe in responsible capitalism.

The present shower couldnt deliver responsible capitalism if they tried.

Its a FRED CARNO, ARTHUR DALEY government this.

Look at Camoron never had a job in his life always had everything he needs given to him on a plate. How the hell can he tell a man whose lost his job through no fault of his own that benefit cuts are good for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its assholic talk.

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 10:44 - 36853 of 81564

Haystack - 19 Feb 2014 11:50 - 36858 of 81564

Nice fall in unemployment!

Haystack - 19 Feb 2014 11:50 - 36859 of 81564

Nice fall in unemployment!

goldfinger - 19 Feb 2014 11:51 - 36860 of 81564

Thats wrong.

The main figure is unemployment as gone up from 7.1% to 7.2%.

Like Ive always maintained tories are misleading people with statistics.

Not only that but the TREND is set to go higher.

Wonder what CARNEY is going to do about this, another U turn like Giddeon.
