Thanks Kim. I have to say I am a bit wary to step in now since I feel the sp will fall back tomorrow on the good news and I may have a chance to top up lower ... ?Ha! I can hope, eh? Good luck with that mousy smell. :-)

kimoldfield - 21 Feb 2006 11:59 - 362 of 1525

Thanks gimp, amazing how bad a smell such a small thing can make! (Bit like a duff share really!). I think there is a good chance we will see a temporary pull back tomorrow, panic buying seems to have set in and, as Alan says, the BORSON brigade will no doubt make a difference. Personally I don't pay too much attention to rumour alone, my own research is what I base my buys/sells on.....a pity it turns out to be crap so often!! I really like this share though and the NICE website gives a good indication of the Beat the Blues programme's potential.

I agree with you Kim. SNAP! I also like ULT. It is a powerful little share if you buy and hold. I, too, do my own research and liked this little gem from the start. Rumour is very bad for the intelligent investor! I also believe that because of the run up to RNS, this may pull back tomorrow through sheer exhaustion from all that climbing. On the other hand, we do not know what that RNS contains and may well neutralise our speculation.

Think I'm gonna use the same strategy on this as the SEO one I have planned for next week. When I believe strongly in the companies prospects I usually use an expected good news RNS or results as an opportunity to top up.
No matter what the reults are, the market these days expect them, and so even if the news is superb, I expect a retractment.
I will set a stop loss tonight of about -5%, allow the shares to go and buy back in later in the day, at a lower price.
Setting the stop loss at that level means I have time to cancel it, should the results warrant it and I feel that -5% may be only just touched by the selling before we are off again.
As I said, same with SEO, and I have done it often enough to know it works 9 out of 10.
You watch, I've opened my big fat mouth now and it will go horrendously wrong tomorrow!!!

Nah!, it'll be fine. Damn, just put a double jinx on it now!! I will stay in at all costs! As for SEO, the results will be as expected, it's the pipeline I am interested in now...staying in that at all costs too! There is a bit on their BB for you Alan.

hewittalan6 - 21 Feb 2006 14:04 - 368 of 1525

At that mid price (3.45) its officially a 5 bagger for me.
A small sweet sherry to celebrate, methinks.

To think that two days ago I was worrying about an exit strategy for this one and wondering if the time had come to move on!!
What a difference a couple of days makes.
Thanks to those that persuaded me to keep holding.
Alan
