And the entire population of the continental United States should go back where they came from as they seized all the land of the native American peoples, subjugated and slaughtered the natives and have illegally occupied the land since 1620. Each time the natives attacked and attempted to throw the whites into the sea they lost land. All attacks by native Americans are entirely justified and will continue until the fascistic thieving terroristic invaders are thrown into the sea.
Now if the Israelis had treated the Palestinians the way the invading God fearing pilgrims and many who followed in their footsteps treated the natives the Palestinians would have real cause for complaint.
Of course not everything the Israelis do is right and some things are plain wrong and unjust, but they have always said they would trade land for peace and did so in Sinai and Gaza, withdrawing from those territories.
Personally I think there should be a complete halt to further settlements and we might see some progress in peace talks. Very many Israelis feel the same way, a minority don't. It's a democracy, not a fascist regime, you morons.
The vast majority of Israelis believe in a two state solution, as does the current government.
A large part of the problem is that the religious nutters, although a small minority, have a completely disproportionate influence on government policy because of the "perfect" system of proportional representation in the parliament. No party can govern decisively because they usually hold the balance of power.
That should be a lesson to us in the UK not to introduce PR here lest the Lib Dems forever form part of any viable government as a consequence.
This post and all of mine are not to "debate" with the parrot or freddie no brains etc., as you can't debate with the Goebbels of the world.
My posts are written simply because it is not right to let Nazi anti-semitic propaganda go unchallenged.
Looking at the beginning of most nations, they are conceived and born in pain and violence and some injustice to somebody. Israel and the Palestine-to-be are no exceptions.
And there are good and bad (and everything in between) people in all countries.
The simplistic hate filled propaganda and attempted demonisation and delegitimisation of Israel promulgated by certain unthinking dupes and parrots here is a simple and direct product of Hamas and Hizbollah propaganda.

Once again You talk nonsense. This has been going on in the lifetime of the people involved and is currently STILL going on. There are Palestinians losing their homes to Israel EVERY day. The current Israeli government only pays lip service to a two state solution. Settlement building has started again at twice the previous rate. They intend there to be no land left for the Palestinians.
The latest comments from Israel are that the Palestinians should all be moved to Jordan, the other side of the Jordan river thus giving Israel all the land west of Jordan. This gives them all of Gaza and all of the West Bank. Israel needs to be delegitimised.
Nazi and anti-semetic feelings have NOTHING to do with this conflict. It is about Israel as a country and its behaviour, not its religion that is the problem. It is only you that thinks it is anti-semetic. You are falling for the trick that Israel constantly plays on the world. Every time people criticise Iasrael they shout "anti-semitic". If a Jew criticises Israel then they shout "self hating Jew". This is where the propaganda comes from. Why do you think that Israel being a democracy stops it being fascist? People can vote for what is effectively fascism.
Stopping settlement building won't bring peace. Israel would have to abandon all the settlements that have been built over the years, move back to earlier borders and allow all the million plus refugee Palestinians to move back to their land. Israel won't do that so there will be no peace. In fact quite the opposite. There will be war again and soon.

Hitler has no bearing on these discussions. Why is he even mentioned? The Israeli government is behaving more like Hitler if you want a comparison. I do want peace in the region. you won't get it until there is somwe justice for the Palestinians. Remind me again why Israel exists or has the right to exist on land taken from other people. The Balfour declaration was not something that the Arabs agreed to. The UN resolutions partitioning palestine was not agreed to by the Arabs (part of that partitioning was that Israel should not then expand).

Conflicts exist all over the world and often the only solution is division of land between two different groups,
e.g. Israel/Palestine
Cyprus into Greek and Turkish areas
Ireland into the North and the Free State
The Indian sub-continent into India and Pakistan West and East and then the latter into Bangla Desh
and so on.
And in all of them, tragic suffering and injustice on both sides in the birth of nationhood.

Wrong has been done on both sides, I would be the first to agree.

i have found a couple of interesting maps too showing the original proposal for the land to be assigned to the Jewish National Home in 1920, and the subsequent land agreed/ratified unanimously by the League of Nations in 1922 .... the latter reduced the land by 77%, but comprised the entire area west of the Jordan (+ the Golan Heights interestingly) to the Mediterranean .... that coastline stretched from (near) Metullah in the north to Rafah in the south
This area was (conveniently) labelled Jewish Palestine, whereas east of the Jordan was (equally conveniently) labelled Arab Palestine (Trans-Jordan)

The problems with the American indians occured hundreds of years ago. The Middle East is happening now. I thought we had developed more humane ways to behave than then. Israel is still displacing Palestinians now. Their land and houses are being taken every day. As far as I know only Egypt among the Arab nations has ever recognised Israel and that was not until 1978. In fact the Arab League moved its base from Cairo because of it. Israel has not accepted properly that the Palestinians will not give up their resistance to their land being taken. The only way ahead is more conflict.

This is a story from today
Jewish settlers seized 60 dunums of Palestinian land near the village of Jalud south of Nablus, ploughed the land, and surrounded it with a fence, local sources said.
They said that tens of settlers on Tuesday took control of the piece of land, the second within two weeks.
The 1,000-inhabitant village of Jalud is surrounded by four settlements
