It is jeffmack.

Do'nuts anyone?

little willie - 23 Jan 2004 11:11 - 3922 of 23498

Hils...wwhhhoooaaaaa, especially "the gallery" [bet all the blokes look at that one first, in a tasteful artistic way of course]. The reception committee's all set; thats just me, a couple of cases of local Villiera 'Champagne' [fabulous stuff @ 4 bottle] plus several cases of assortd wines av. price 3.
The Red carpet's ready to roll out and coat hangers ready to be loaded.

In a minute I'm off for a day/night cricket match West Indies v South Africa 'A' at our local cricket ground at Boland, Paarl. Have a private suite for 10,several TVs to watch reruns and incl lunch, dinner and drinks all for under a tenner a head.Might be on Sky so watch out for Willy; my cousin saw me on tv in the last test match, whee!

Beautiful day, a few cotton wool clouds, 33 degrees and a nice breeze....

TIMbo.. saw your message on TIGers, agree with you but the feelgood factor seems set there. Some of it is getting a mite silly in the current climate...

stockbunny - 23 Jan 2004 15:11 - 3923 of 23498

Afternoon All from a very fed-up bunny...
1. I am really struggling to finish some work today, combination of lack
of concentration and tiredness whilst dealing with a complex maze of info!
2. The weather next week is going to be horrid and I have stuff to
do which will involve venturing out in it.
3. Tired due to some low-life pratt last night (1.30am) practising
screech owl impressions in the road outside the warren - unbelievable!
Coping with the Met's habit of using sirens all times of the day and night
is one thing but the raving of some of these lunatics around is something
else! Makes you wonder what of earth they're taking/drinking...???!!
4. My whole security package appears to have disappeared off my computer
oh its a long story but one no doubt that will keep me awake tonight.
5. And who gave the FTSE permission to slide on its backside today????
((Opens new bottle of wine, looking sulky..))

snoball - 23 Jan 2004 17:27 - 3924 of 23498

The Dow isn't looking too sharp either stockbunny and I'm long. I think i'll open a bottle of red and join you if I may.

stockbunny - 23 Jan 2004 17:30 - 3925 of 23498

Yeah why not, we'll get quietly drunk!
Pass the twiglets and don't tell me there aren't any please!!!

Socrates - 23 Jan 2004 17:32 - 3926 of 23498

Thank goodness, it's the weekend again. Hi all.

snoball - 23 Jan 2004 18:25 - 3927 of 23498

Yo, socks. Pass the twiglets to stockbunny.

Golddog - 23 Jan 2004 19:09 - 3928 of 23498

Just a quick pop in to update the Game and TIM takes the lead for the weekend.

Thanks for the words of wisdom bunny, positive thought is required im sure. Not sure about the Black Death part i thought it was just a cold i had coming.

Hilary, that website was just knickers! do you visit that site on a Sunday?

With this cold spell coming i have been out all day fetching logs for the fire so we will all be warm in here.
:-)

bye bye.

Socrates - 23 Jan 2004 20:06 - 3929 of 23498

snoball
That is very perceptive of you. I'd pass a truckload of Twiglets to get to Bunny.

Maggot - 23 Jan 2004 20:35 - 3930 of 23498

Just popped in. Can't have a drink because I'm driving. Just going to point out that myself, Gianni and Hilary are obviously playing the same game by lulling the other players into a false sense of security, and we will spring a surprise on them in the last couple of days of the competition... whenever that is!

snoball - 23 Jan 2004 20:37 - 3931 of 23498

lol Socs!

Maggot I thought there might be a cunning plan in operation.

vasey - 23 Jan 2004 21:44 - 3932 of 23498

Heh! I'm snuggled up to Socks.....how wonderful!

Socrates - 23 Jan 2004 22:54 - 3933 of 23498

Oh Vasey! I'll pour you a glass of the fizzy stuff.

Question: Is canoodling making whoopy in a small boat?

jeffmack - 24 Jan 2004 07:06 - 3934 of 23498

Good morning from Dusseldorf. Very early start today.

Socrates - 24 Jan 2004 09:35 - 3935 of 23498

Jeffmack
Got on the wrong train again then?

little willie - 24 Jan 2004 11:15 - 3936 of 23498

Morning all,
Socs appears to have gone to bed as Ken Dodd and woken up as Harry Hill...lol

Congrats to TIM on knocking me orf me perch plus the other three rats who overtook me on the inside, just not British. Sort of thing someone from Dusseldorf would do.
Alas, once again I peaked too early!!

Ah well, back to the pool [not the liver kind].

This_is_me - 24 Jan 2004 16:42 - 3937 of 23498

I am just back from a terrible experience in the town centre. The drug testers insisted that I give them a sample of, you know what, in the middle of the street. They said one minute's delay and the consequences would be worse than that poor Rio suffered. They said they were acting on 'information received' from the southern hemisphere on the use of banned substances. They implied that there could be no genuine reason for the sudden jump from mid-table to 5 grand ahead in the game. I just hope that the fungus on those doughnuts doesn't cause a positive test result.

snoball - 24 Jan 2004 20:51 - 3938 of 23498

It will This_is_me.
Guaranteed!

Socrates - 25 Jan 2004 11:04 - 3939 of 23498

I would not touch those doughnuts, I've seen how GD makes the hole in the middle.

Good morning all, I had a heavy night last night, genealogy gone mad.

Golddog - 25 Jan 2004 17:50 - 3940 of 23498

Warning - Cafe doughnuts may contain banned substances, please help yourselves.
