Gausie.

I am learning so much from this thread. Please help me out as being old the memory is not what it was. Do I infer from your post that they have beaten a 6 nations team? Surely not, you must be wrong I had assumed from the posts of the Rugby experts here that England played badly and still strolled to a thumping win.

Please clarify. I am sure we will all be fascinated to know.

Martini

I'm nothing if not an educator - please, let me take you back to a rugby world cup in a galaxy not too far away - and not too long ago - the RWC before last.

Gareth Jenkins was the man in charge of a team that the welsh could really get behind, And boy did they get behind, particularly in their 'match' against Fiji - where the south sea islanders put 38 points past them.

The full story is told in excrutiating detail here.

Gurusie

Many thanks. I am amazed things like that can happen to such an all conquering Rugby Nation, they must have been gutted.

Anyway mustn't linger too much in the past. I promised myself, in 2003, not to do that.

Gausie - 19 Sep 2015 17:51 - 24 of 163

Yes - important not to crow about past wins of world championships such as the rugby world cup or the soccer world cup.

Dil is also a subscriber to this view of gentlemanly acceptance of world sporting domination. After all, I've never heard him boast about Lynne Davies' 1966 Olympic long jump gold medal for Wales. Which, after all, was the very pinnacle of welsh sporting achievement - unless, of course, you include Terry Griffiths in the snooker.

Anyway back to current events. Whatever the result the Japs are putting up a storming performance against the Springboks. They just wont lie down.

Martini - 19 Sep 2015 18:48 - 26 of 163

Wow what a game what a result.

Gausie I suggest you don't go drinking in a Joberg bar tonight and talk about Rugby.

Gausie - 19 Sep 2015 18:49 - 27 of 163

Japan not getting the extra point may cost them dearly ....

Gausie - 19 Sep 2015 18:50 - 28 of 163

Sushi and Saki for tea.

Oh - dear - my cars are all either red or white too.

Dil - 20 Sep 2015 02:25 - 29 of 163

Lol as much as I dislike the Chuckle Brothers and their jokes from working on 40 of their shows a long long time ago .... they were still funnier than MAM's equivalent Martini and Gausie !

Lucky Japan ain't in our group , you wouldn't have finished higher than fourth.

Want Wales seconds to struggle tomorrow , win by 1 point cos bonus points ain't gonna count... just gives you lot something to cling on to.

Dil - 20 Sep 2015 02:31 - 30 of 163

and I gotta ask ... how the feck did he manage to get into South Africa wen he's wanted all over the world for talking shite ???

:-)

cynic - 21 Sep 2015 09:25 - 32 of 163

the gods certainly have it in for wales ...... the welsh will be hoping for some miraculous cures and for england to be as inept as they were on saturday

Fred1new - 21 Sep 2015 09:45 - 33 of 163

There are plans at Welsh Rugby H/Q.

They are going on holidays early!

Dil - 25 Sep 2015 00:54 - 34 of 163

The silence on here says it all.

Half our team out injured and England drop their play maker they've been building a team around for the last year and go with the stick it up our jumper option and pick defensive backs for when we get the ball !

Only one team going out on that pitch to play rugby Saturday and for the sake of the game a bonus point win to nil is the least they deserve.

Dil - 25 Sep 2015 01:00 - 35 of 163

moneyam will be announcing a new competition Saturday 10pm .... spot the England fan.

Dil - 25 Sep 2015 01:06 - 36 of 163

Little English kid visits Santa and Santa asks him what he'd like for Christmas and the kid says he'd like a real live dragon .

Santa tell's him to get real and pick something else so the kid says he want's to see England beat Wales in the 2015 rugby World Cup and Santa says .........

.... what colour dragon do you want ? :-)

skinny - 25 Sep 2015 13:11 - 37 of 163

Dil - 25 Sep 2015 21:05 - 38 of 163

Seems the internet is down in England , France and S Africa ... suppose it'll be the mobile networks tomorrow !

12/1 Wales to earn a bonus point for four or more tries , fill yer boots.

Dil - 26 Sep 2015 02:54 - 39 of 163

So quiet on here it's scary.

All sat there , Chuckle brothers and co , pretending they all over the world with no access to this thread with their fingers crossed and they get a lucky win.

Dream on boys ....... :-)

Dil - 26 Sep 2015 02:56 - 40 of 163

...... and you still ain't told Santa what colour dragon you want !
