Designed to move investment to a new level this scheme will take advantage of superb demographics to provide a new all year round international standard leisure attraction.

In the briefing room we are currently progressing projects in London, Manchester, Leeds and Paris.

dazz, i take the prices from moneyam monitor, seems to be a big spread for brjk. Some prices have been all over the place and in those cases when a trade is carried out i make sure it's a reasonable price. Sorry about jeffmack not much i can do there!

stockbunny - 10 Sep 2004 17:46 - 26 of 40

GD - now sit down comfortably and listen....thank you...
OK could you please do the following for the girls?
Sell PCI for us
Put the proceeds into HBOS shares and an additional sum from our
cash fund to give us a buy of 100,000 new additional HBOS shares.
These will obviously be added to the ones we already have.
Thanks!!

amberjane - 10 Sep 2004 22:49 - 28 of 40

I think you're tactics to waylay them all in the T Rooms today was deplorable behaviour - didnt know you could all stoop so low. GD...the boys have been distracting the team...

Big Al - 11 Sep 2004 08:28 - 29 of 40

Interesting choice from the girlies.

Hmmm.

stockbunny - 13 Sep 2004 11:15 - 30 of 40

Don't worry Amber - see we make them think they are distracting us,
whilst we distract them, whilst they still think they are distracting
us, whilst we are still distracting them and by that stage they are so confused, we've got no problems!!
lol ;>)

okuta - 07 Jun 2005 10:14 - 34 of 40

Hi Guys,The following is taken from OAH BB this morning on advfn and the credit goes to Simon Gordon-
"
Hi Guys - Property Week has a column called City View, which is written by James Whitmore. This week his spotlight is on Oak. He says 'With a fair wind Oak will not be a penny share for long.'

In regards to YES he says 'The spanner in the works is Sheffield Council, which has so far refused to give its backing...If Oak can persuade Sheffield that the scheme will not harm the City, the planning consent could come later this year.'

Good fortune! "

regards okuta

This new LONDON =lap-dancing, starts to look a lot better, eh?
Well, the girls aren't on your lap, 'fraid not, rather they are on your sofa, so don't order any food with lashings of gravy......you have been warned.
Looks like the next AGM will be ...........
(OAK used to be Anglo-Welsh - the canal-boat people ). That business has long-gone to be replaced by a theme=park develpoment between Rotherham and Sheffield (the YES-project)......but Councils are dragging their heels.
/
THeir other business is consultancy, or how to get planning permission.....as they have considerable expertise.......this looks like a "News-worthy" development, but we shall have to wait and see, sp has jumped to nearly 2p on the article in the Telegraph, this weekend.

hangon - 26 Jun 2006 12:16 - 36 of 40

The recent falls are nothing more than "delay Woes" and maybe a bit of flutters with interest-rates likely to rise a small %. (unless the Market knows - - - )

It would be nice to have some positive news but this is a "waiting-stock" - you just have to be patient. In time there is every reason to believe it will come good and money will be made...hopefully Retail Shareholders will benefit.......
I Hold in hope.

hangon - 06 Jul 2006 14:27 - 37 of 40

2p today,(=60% rise) on signing an energy deal with EON - this is progress.

hangon - 10 Nov 2006 17:06 - 38 of 40

Bought a few more on speculation that some news will-out, soon enough. Don't know but it's still looking reasonable - probably like a biotech - all or nothing.
As a theme-park it is well placed, right next to the M1-motorway. Should boost local employment too. It could be a flagship for what can be done with an industrial area.

(I understand the Local Councils are now giving this support and so the Gov. has said there is no need for a Public Inquiry, saving a lot of time and money, etc. )

Plans include an hotel, theatre, golf-range and various other ideas have been suggested. It is a big site with two valuable commodities - water and transport links.

hangon - 20 Feb 2007 17:43 - 39 of 40

Planniing consent given (recent news item) - so it should be down to the architects and money-men....presumably they will build a decent infrastructure which will contain leisure-facilities as well as the promised hotel.
I believe they have support from a power-provider (can't remember who) and also BT who will probably use this location as a flagship for their technology - well away from interfering alternatives as would happen in London, or Sheffield.
So far, so good..... let's hope [OAH]-Management really can keep all the interested parties "on board"...ypou really couldn't ask for a better site:-
- passing trade via the M1 and local populations in Sheffiled/Rotherham
-Local Airport at Robin-Hood (Doncaster just to the North)
- No obvious competition for miles
- large site with water and hills permitting a good vantage point from the motorway.
- a site that (subject to industrial clean-up) will allow building to commence without objectors getting in the way.
SP has been a bit sluggish, but I think that reflects the lack of any obvious construction - and that will only become obvious when the concrete reaches 2nd-floor level. Buy before then, or you'll miss out..
DYOR....

Brutus2 - 24 Apr 2007 18:31 - 40 of 40

Access to the Motorway is now assured news announcement
