Has anybody got any idea where this is going and where it is likely to be by the end of the year. I'm up at the moment do I hold & wait for 3G or off load now.

Looks to be at an intereting price now (113p) - nice yield and bad news out of the way perhaps?

It is believed Vodafone intends to exit the crucial Japanese market entirely. Softbank, Japan's leading broadband supplier, is taking Vodafone Japan off the UK company's hands.

Vodafone is tipped to hand the proceeds of the eventual sale, which could be up to 8bn, back to shareholders via a special dividend.
