Another Chinese Star!! Sports Lottery and gaming in China and Asia holding agreements worth 5.2% of total lottery sales estimated at 4.4 billion. Floated at 34p and rising nicely. Those who like online gambling stocks---check this one out it looks a future bagger to me once the results come in. one to tuck away!

SHARES mag gives this a fairly comprehensive write up (issue 18th Jan) particularly based on the Shi Shi Cai high frequency lottery. (Takes place 72 times a day!)
The chartist in the same mag predicts that the next restistance level should be around the 65p mark, based on current volume. Trend line is now up & heading for the crucial 200 DMA line. The 2007 target that they give is 110p & a current buy recommendation.

I don't understand what's happening to the share price of betex. It has a strong focus on the lottery market in China, the only kind of legal gambling allowed. Their lottery deals in china have tremendous potential. They are the only listed company in UK who have been able to close these sort of deals. Their nomad have issued an analyst report on the company and it is on their top 5 picks list for the year. This stock should be distinguished from those in the online gambling sector which has taken a hit recently.

I'm thinking of going back in soon as long term I think this will come good as does Credit suisse and Nigel Wray.
