I have created this new thread so that anyone who is interested in attending a celebration lunch, day out, whatever to celebrate TMC's share price reaching 20, can register their interest and voice an opinion on what they would like to do.

owner of a South African mining services co suddenly snaps up a 3% stake. Phwoar, TMC looks about as sexy as you can get, all these mining cos buying stakes in here, so what do they know/want????? Nice.

think the announcement y'day was that they went through the 3% level, not that 3% had just been snapped up

+ve news though, better a buyer than a seller...

already have a small holding (without pigs) and assuredly did not buy more

anyone tried buying in size? 45p quoted for 50000 although can get 25000 at 43.5p and leave 25000 in the market. Maybe our new shareholder is mopping up any excess.

just place the order with limit via broker or L2 and say to accept part fill

lol now they want 50p for those 50000, looks like our latest shareholder is in the market for more stock. May well rise very fast if that's the case.

There is no sense of momentum with tmc at the moment, up or down, completely stuck in this channel, it may very well pop back up to lower 40's , but there is nothing driving it, may be a time to be in or out and look for more exciting things.

shares mag observed that nickel prices were rising, though still miles short of what it was at its peak .... in the same article it was noted that s/s production was also substantially above its low ..... keep watching the nickel price!
