Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Aw, thanks Bunny, just have enough time to eat it!

stockbunny - 29 Jan 2009 16:25 - 422 of 4886

:>) sees you tomorrow then

I see that bunny's contract with Virgin is in danger.

I really don't know what that passenger was complaining about, food looked ok to me, maybe missing a few hundreds and thousands sprinkled over the top but ok otherwise! Some people are just never satisfied.

Where's my lunch? ;o)

optomistic - 30 Jan 2009 15:16 - 425 of 4886

Where's any ones lunch! It just shows when the manageress is under such a heavy work load all feeding the brutes goes to pot.
Must learn to be independant.......Where's the nearest takeaway?

kimoldfield - 30 Jan 2009 15:27 - 426 of 4886

Mmm, ok a 'King Kentucky fried Big Mac it is then!

optomistic - 30 Jan 2009 15:39 - 427 of 4886

I was thinking more of a Chinese takaway, the custard blends better with them.
Must think of spacie....he is very fond of custard.

kimoldfield - 30 Jan 2009 16:23 - 428 of 4886

Oooh yes!, with hundreds and thousands!

kimoldfield - 30 Jan 2009 16:24 - 429 of 4886

Oh, and those little silver balls which are a bit like the shot you get in a roast pheasant!

stockbunny - 02 Feb 2009 12:49 - 430 of 4886

Afternoon - I see you are all snowed in at your respective burrows?

skinny - 02 Feb 2009 12:50 - 431 of 4886

Yes - just waiting for the mobile soup kitchen!

jeffmack - 02 Feb 2009 12:53 - 432 of 4886

I dont know, people cant travel a few mile to get to work this morning but I managed to get to Brussels ok.

Bloody wimps

kimoldfield - 02 Feb 2009 12:53 - 433 of 4886

Just tried to ski to the shops; I don't know why really, most of the small amount of snow we had has already melted :o)

skinny - 02 Feb 2009 12:55 - 434 of 4886

Jeff - I can't afford the cab :-)

jeffmack - 02 Feb 2009 13:06 - 435 of 4886

Dogs are usually asleep in the evening but wanted to play in the snow at 10:00 last night in the garden. Wife took them to 5 arches this morning, they love it.

skinny - 02 Feb 2009 13:09 - 436 of 4886

I don't get over there as often since our dog died - its amazing how a lone man walking with a dog is acceptable - but a lone man walking by the river and people give you a wide berth.

stockbunny - 02 Feb 2009 13:13 - 437 of 4886

Shame isn't it Skinny - a sign of the times......
Morning Jeffie - transport here is messed up, no London buses running at all anywhere, schools round here shut, plane sliding off the taxiway at LHR - I mean amazing what's all this snow about? - anyone would think it was Winter or something! ;>)

stockbunny - 02 Feb 2009 13:13 - 438 of 4886

Opps sorry Kim - put the skis outside though before you do someone an injury!

jeffmack - 02 Feb 2009 13:16 - 439 of 4886

Afternoon bunny

Too true skinny, my wife was talking to an older guy bird watching in Bexley Woods, really nice old guy. He said he never knows if he should say hello to any women walking their dogs in case they feel nervous, he finds himself giving them a wide birth. Sad sign of the times.

Lots of snow in 7oaks we had to abandon drive to Hastings last nights as it was blizzard condition of M25 just near the M20 turn.

However I am planning on trying for Hastings later this afternoon in my land rover.
