With the lead in period to delivery taking up the remainder of 2005, maybe the other airlines that have had these on trial for so long but waiting for better cash flow will now be induced to place their orders as soon as possible in order to fullfil their needs for a better container by at best mid 2006 hopefully this will get them off the fence and into aerobox's order book.

Airlines will be more interested now due to the much higher oil prices as compared to the last few years.
The savings for using these ligther boxes then were quite small.
As oil prices have since doubled so have the savings i would think making these boxes more worth while to buy.

Long awaited! This maiden order could bounce other airlines who have been dithering. Won't want to spend too long in the order queue awaiting deliveries.

Sells going through above quoted on-line mid. MMs keen to get hold of stock. Wondering if followers of AA might want to join in after the US opens.

On-line size is currently 375,000 to sell but only 25,000 if you want to buy. Been skewed like this for a while. Big T buy going through?

How much is this first order worth and has ARX enough cash to complete this and possible other orders or will they have to raise money soon?

well the last day of a very expensive holiday in cape cod and this news has paid for it in spades! the poetic part is i am flying back from boston in a few hours on, you guessed it...American Airlines!

weekend reports should be good an more orders should follow!

Whats the short term price for ARX and long term sp?

Havng bought these to sell at 7p I had been staring at the screen for a month,thinking that this really was the biggest gamble that I had made to date (consciously,that is).If news of a contract came in,I intended topping up in a big way,for me!
Of course,I caved into pressure and went off on an arduous bike ride with my son and totally missed the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!We were all playing when we should have been working!
If only this news had arrived on a monday I would have felt more confident of a nice ride straight upto 20p and would have topped up.As it was,Friday bought the sellers out even though there were some larger private buys.
I really have no idea where this will go next week.The rising price of oil is becoming ominous for any manufacturer using plastics and I would have felt more confident with a larger initial order now that trials are over.
As it is,the prospects are brilliant if ARX can satisfy the varying demands of their potential customers and expand in the refrigeration and military fields.
Interesting how 3DM (TDM) ticked up a bit on the news although I don't like their technical problems and doubled losses even though Morgan Stanley have bought in.

This is the "INITIAL" order.

I expect a pull back to 8/9p then a steady move upto 20p.

agreed. i think this is an initial small order. more airlines will now follow suit now that there is acceptance of the product.

sit tight. i think these will be in the mid teens over the nexty month.

If the chart is now showing the early stages of a pennant after a break out movement north, then I would expect the next break to be north also and of a similar magnitude - so mid-teens is about right. My estimation would be 14p within 4 to 8 weeks.

Of course, another significant order or announcement of progress with the JV in China would accelerate and enhance this movement.

Agree with you all this is a really massive move forward for ARX and people should take the opportunity to buy any dips.

exactly. one or two more orders and acceptance of the product and these really could be a multi bag from here. i mean look where the price was only a few months ago when it was hype with no orders and no finished factory!
