good stuff, driver. sp had a sniff of air above 30p today. i guess we shall see tomorrow wether it liked the smell or wether we are all being taken for a ride!!
so far seo have been a very tight company, not a company prone to leaks. i can't say i am happy with all the rumours and still no definate news from seo. hopefully we shall get something in the morning. some large to largeish t trades gone through late on.

Just a poser for the more educated on this excellent forum. If the markets close at 4.30pm why do trades show up after this time and not the following morning. Also the closing bid at 4.30pm was 27.75 so how can it go down to 27.25 after hours, and it seems the mm`s are very keen to mark the price down at every opportunity but all the buys between 4to4.30 didn`t move the price up which baring in mind there were well over a million seems strange.Somebody please enlighten me.

pisces: no authority but an interested observer. Most of those late recorded trades were at higher prices seen earlier in the day - time given is the time reported; slap on the writst for administrative inefficiency. MMs obviously had plenty of stock in hand so were happy to sell it without the price moving up. OK, there was a balance of 4m buys to sells, but they could have had a line of stock available that has not been reported. I would suspect that they will mark the price up in the morning in order to deter too much buying and encouraging selling. Likely to be new buyers coming in on basis of rumours, whilst weekly traders will close bull positions later in the day or depending on movements of the sp. Still expect us to be trading between 27p and 30p tomorrow.
bos: I think Stephanie's reports in the US will have encouraged conjecture. Keen to make her presence felt: her statements needed correction as you said although one of them was attributed to Howard White. ASADA initial orders seem to be confirmed at around 200 and tehy also corrected the leakage to less than 0.1% - quite amaziong improvement from 3%. But the main source of leaks seems likely to be from the training room with all these excited engineers gaining inevitably some inside knowledge. If that is the source, then its more likely to be well-founded than if from an analyst or pundit who turns speculation into news. May get some volatility for a while. Hope you kept your CFD on SEO open!

eric , actually it was your competition that has finally hammered home the most important message of running your winners. because you didnt allow any trading after a certain date i am well up and top of your league. in moneyam comp i am doing crap because the timing of my trades is upside down. so , yes, i have kept my cfd open from last friday!!!!( but i have to admit to having the phone in my hand and actually dialing barclays but hung up before they answered.) in the real world i am flying, in your comp i am doing great, in the moneyam comp i am doing bobbins. 2 out 3 ain't bad, as the fat one said!!

Not administrative efficiency, but all to do with LSE regulations. Trades greater than the NMS are permitted to be reported with a certain delay. Can't remember the exact rules, but no doubt avaialble for the interested on the LSE Website.
Must go out and play golf more often (ie, more than four times a week!). The SP certainly had a real spurt on up to 1030ish, although not surprising to see profit taking. I would imagine there are an awful lot of investors sitting on significant profits who will be agonising over when to sell, and no doubt many already have and others will do so. To keep the run going, new investors will have to be convinced to buy at what may be considered an elevated value; a bullish RNS to confirm the rumours will provide the necessary impetus. Personally, I do not think that RNS will be much delayed and I certainly have my own target for the SP in mind.
Regards to all

ladies and gentlemen
I thought i'd do the decent thing and advise you that due to imminent house move and raising the necessary capital, i will be selling my shares in SEO. This is going to really piss me off as I am up nearly 70% and was looking forward to the double bubble. Alas I feel this will not happen unless I hold out for a few more weeks.
So there we go, this was only meant to be a share whereby I would have been happy with a return of more than 5% (the same as ING savings), but it has grown into an obsession. highs and lows and all thats gone on in between.
Rest assured, if I can keep hold of these beauties, then I will.
adios
