OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.
No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.
So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Thick mist rolling in off the sea today.

Good grief! Look at the mess!, and what is that unintelligent mist doing here? Get out!
Hmm, it's a good job my suitcase is still packed, I'm off for a few more days hols. I hope someone has tidied the place up and fixed the broken lock by the time I get back!

I see the place is still a mess! The fridge is probably full of mould; I'll just take a look.
My passport! So, that's where it was. It explains why I had a packet of chilled meat in my case. Good job I was able to ham my way through customs!

Good job you weren't going to an arab country, presenting a packet of ham as a passport may not have been too well received!

Oh, I don't know, with my new found acting skills I wouldn't have made a pig's ear of it. I'm no hamateur.

Thanks DC. I was telling porkies about needing my passport!
I had intended to walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with my wife but only managed 10 miles due to a ruptured lumbar disc! Had to be content with gentle sightseeing instead after which we spent a few days in Liverpool, and London with our eldest and youngest daughters respectively, finishing up with a painful limp around Cambridge. Still, the weather was great!!

Sorry to hear about your back. Had you been lifting objects. Sounds very painful.
Plenty of rest now, feet up, breakfast served in bed. I wish you a speedy recovery.
I was in cambridge on Sunday at Scotsdale garden centre, just for cream teas.
Get well soon, and how long to recover.

Thanks! Not sure how long it will take until I can leap about like a 10 year old again! I just keep walking as much as I can, resting doesn't do much good so I'm afraid breakfast in bed is out. I hadn't done anything strenuous, just one of those unexpected moments!
I hope you enjoyed your cream tea, we were in Cambridge on Thursday, very hot! We parked at the Park and Ride St Ives and took the bus in on the concrete 'rail' Busway, a slightly unnerving experience considering that we appeared to be going flat out with the bus wheels just centimetres from a small concrete wall.

Take it easy. In Cambridge a few weeks ago. Get the park and ride from Trumpington.
I love Cambridge. So much going on. Not been on the concrete rail bus . Is there a driver? Nice to sit outside by the market. Did you see the chap in the dustbin playing the guitar.

Yes the buses have a driver; there are some gaps in the 'rail' where it crosses roads, if the driver gets his aim wrong when getting back on track the bus gets a pretty hefty jolt!
Didn't see the chap in the dustbin, that's an innovating way of making a bit of cash!!
