Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/palestinian-statehood-ed-miliband-says-labour-mps-must-vote-to-recognise-palestine-or-stay-away-from-parliament-9789946.html
Ed Miliband was on a collision course on Sunday with the Board of Deputies, which speaks for Britain’s Jews, as he insisted that Labour MPs who are in Parliament on Monday must back a motion to recognise Palestine as an independent state.
Last week, Labour’s shadow foreign secretary, Douglas Alexander, announced that Labour was imposing a three line whip to get its MPs to back the motion – to the fury of pro-Israeli Labour MPs who accused him of changing party policy without consulting them.

if labour fails to become the largest party at the next election, and that is not even with a majority, then for once the tories will owe the (more militant) unions a HUGE vote of thanks ..... it is primarily thanks to them that labour has em as its figurehead (puppet?) rather than his brother

Labour are nervous of Boris. Far from a dimwit or clown as you put it. Could well be the next con leader.

if clacton's residents are similar to those of frinton, then yes, they almost certainly are ...... they would no doubt deny it, but i wonder how many non-white members there are of their local golf club
more seriously, there is no question at all that the current immigration system needs a radical overhaul so that those who are allowed residential status have skills that are required and/or can prove that they will not be a strain/drain on the welfare system ..... that is not greatly different from what australia, usa and canada already have in place

I don't think the people on here, who are slinging the term racist about, actually know what it means.
Racism consists of both prejudice and discrimination based in social perceptions of biological differences between peoples.
It often takes the form of social actions, practices or beliefs, or political systems that consider different races to be ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities.
Before these posters go any further, they need to define what they mean by the term 'racist'?
It cannot be wrong to want to protect the culture of your country against it being spoiled by residents of another country.
But similarly, it must be wrong to say that the UK is being spoiled by people from other countries when they immigrate into the UK and add value.
As in all things, moderation is usually the best stance.

Is voting for the UKIP racist? If so why? Last time I checked immigration was only one reason why we maybe shouldn't be in the EU... Personally the EU policies on Health and Safety, Minimum Wage, Benefits, HUMAN bloody RIGHTS, Environment and Energy are all reasons why voting for UKIP makes sense... On a personal note if I can sit with my family on the beach in Southsea eating ice-cream and not feel like I'm a stranger on my own shores I'd be a lot happier...
