Provexis Buy at 3.25p - Target 8p (PXS)

peeyam - 08 May 2007 11:30

LONDON (AFX) - Provexis PLC said it has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Unilever PLC to jointly develop a new concentrated format of its patented Fruitflow heart-health technology for application in Unilever's food product portfolio.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The partners plan to enter into a global licence arrangement for the technology.

Fruitflow is a patented natural extract from tomato which Provexis said has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting that is typically associated with cardiovascular disease and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

In 2005 the market for heart benefit foods was worth 4 bln usd globally, Provexis added.

Considering the growth potential this share has a target of about 8-10p in the medium tern and is a good buy at current levels

As usual, pls do ur own research.

required field, As from the first time i brought this share @.78 i said brilliant long term. I dont expect things to happen overnight, From acorns do mighty oaks grow. I know the sp is ahead of its self, as stated previously, Thats all down to mms manipulation.

Balerboy - 11 Sep 2009 08:51 - 462 of 1204

Now then Blanche I've been well informed that the MM's never manipulate the SP... you'll get your wrist slapped by RF.

required field - 11 Sep 2009 08:58 - 463 of 1204

If you bought at that price (.78 of a penny) then you have done extremely well.....take some profits ...

cynic - 11 Sep 2009 09:06 - 464 of 1204

there's actually 5/6 MMs so spread/price cannot be manipulated so easily,

blanche - i don't know how many of these things you hold, but if you have enough to make it worthwhile, then you're nuts not to trade at least a portion - i.e. take some profit and buy back again as and when it looks right

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 09:06 - 465 of 1204

RF I invested 10 grand and have taken out my initial investment. Now have 750000 free running.

Balerboy - 11 Sep 2009 09:16 - 466 of 1204

Hats off to you Blanche, that takes balls........

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 09:30 - 467 of 1204

balerboy, All down to reasearch and a belief in the product and company. Plus a large amount of fingers, toes, legs and anything else i can cross. lol

Balerboy - 11 Sep 2009 09:40 - 468 of 1204

This pixie dixie share is on it's way back again........ Blanche, a little gut feeling works sometimes in our favour, Cynics clinical assessment is ok but he's lost the faith. doomed he is doomed

cynic - 11 Sep 2009 09:40 - 469 of 1204

it was a brave initial punt at 10k (approx 1.25m shares), albeit that it has paid off ...... on that basis, and as you have 750k left, you sold 500k @ 2p ...... got out of that lump a bit early didn't you lol!

for all that, my previous comment has even greater validity as 750k @ 7p has a value of 52.5k

======
now tell us about the stinkers you still hold!

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 09:46 - 470 of 1204

down 3600 seo, 1400 ura 1100 vml 1000 vog. Happy now.

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 09:58 - 471 of 1204

just thought id add making nice dosh on afr, gas, pele amonst others. Life is good!

cynic - 11 Sep 2009 09:58 - 472 of 1204

in a way only teasing, but certainly throws into sharp relief just how brave you were to buy as many PXS as you did ...... and i still say my advice on PXS is (more than) good

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 10:01 - 473 of 1204

Cynic, I know, Thanks. gl

cynic - 11 Sep 2009 10:05 - 474 of 1204

for a change, perhaps not just shit from all orifices then!

don't know either gas or pele, but afr i also like and think that could have a lot of mileage ...... am certainly staying well clear of falklands stocks - see des for why

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 10:17 - 475 of 1204

Iam holding afr for 2.50 min later next year. Do a bit of research on pele, Plenty of mileage there as you say, brought at 20p but looking for plus from these levels. Whats your thoughts on tan been thinking of having a punt for a wee while?

cynic - 11 Sep 2009 10:28 - 476 of 1204

strewth! that's one to bring out of the graveyard ...... used to follow that closely, but haven't looked at it for ages

do you restrict yourself to shares <1.00?

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 10:41 - 477 of 1204

Ok and No. Out now for rest of day. Going to pick some sloes to make my gin for xmas. Yummy!

cynic - 11 Sep 2009 10:45 - 478 of 1204

after a quick look, would rather buy TAN than PELE, but both are thinly traded

as you like oilie-related stocks, CRA certainly has potential and hasn't got too far ahead of the game .....

and i think i'll have yet another look at CSR when i get round to it, as that is a pretty good sector with US economy recovering.

of the heavies, WOS may be worth a flutter on the basis that housebuilding and sales are recovering on both sides of the pond, and WOS will be an obvious beneficiary.

along similar lines, a copper miner could be interesting, though i don't currently have any on my watchlist - ANTO and KAZ would be be contenders, or even RIO

moneyplus - 11 Sep 2009 12:53 - 479 of 1204

AUL is worth a look--I only hold a tiny amount also YGH and MWA.

blanche - 11 Sep 2009 16:34 - 480 of 1204

Steady as she goes now til news imvho. have an excellent weekend one and all.

P.s Gutted i missed out on the kaz rise. As its on my watch list.
