probably more like him being too retarded to cover his tracks
Yuff - you will note the Miner & Miner webiste has been updated with 3 new contract wins in the last week - appears that business is brisk in the GIS world and esp. for one of our most important partners

Dick
If M&M get a contract, does that automatically include us?
I could do my own research here but I know you specialise in ESRI/GISand you are our reident expert!!

don't know - HP has always refused to confirm/deny - who knows if we get a fixed royalty or a per seat payment
all we know is that Magi is embedded in Designer and ARCFM as standard and therefore the implication is if they sell then we sell
we also seem to get a fair share of Go! Sync sales in partnership with Miner & Miner and in fact developed it with them. I note the recent JEA $500k contract had them as one of the other partners. Hence if they sign new contracts then it can't harm us.
I was thinking more along the lines of the sales plus the upgrade in Trimble's earnings being indicative of the corporate handbrake being removed on spending. Certainly TAD mentioned in the finals that IT spending for Cartesia had been sluggish and that market condtions had only just started to improve.

Cartesia turnover of 3.0m and Profit of 1.5m
ETI Turnover of 500k and loss of 1m
Central costs of 1m
Total Loss of 0.5m
all imho and dyor

0.5M loss will do for me nicely. I personally think it will
be about 1.0M loss, given the extra staff and setup costs.

have you seen the markets generaly i would be surprised if it hadnt fallen , US down again i think it will need a miracle for this to go far at moment !! patience is required but tough if you bought at high price this is what the big boys want buy low sell high and i have a feeling this is going to go lower still before a recovery starts sound depressing but now in techmark 100 this is just what the tracker funds want low as possible will be their moto!!

i own shares in this but covering with short via spread bet i find this is a good way of covering your position and using auto close you can follow the price quite easily in case of big rise

Well today has been interesting. Lots of fairly lumpy trades.
Obviously peeps think that there is more to come, remember the papers last week.
We have had two of their prediction, could we have another episode tomorrow??
Dont forget now, up early tomorrow.

MM's seemed to keep a lid on the price yesterday, not often you have 1m more buys than sells and end up down on the day.
Also mm's were prepared to pay 0.5p on the bid to get shares but very hard to deal inside the offer, looks like they want shares without telling anyone.
