BBc news -

Slovenia, who lost out to Ukraine in the play-offs for Euro 2016, defeated Macedonia 1-0 in a friendly on Wednesday thanks to a goal from Roman Bezjak.

That results means they have now lost just once in their last six outings, though their away form does not allow for a huge amount of optimism. 2-0 wins away to San Marino and Lithuania have punctuated a run of nine defeats with just three goals scored in 11 games on the road.

Not good ...only saw second half.....why play the B team...?.....isn't it best to play your best with minimal changes ...too bad if others don't get a game...we always do this and it's a mistake.....several players should never never have played tonight....I hate to say it but as good as the German game was this is not good enough...Erickson...was terrible for changes....that's a game we should have won....ok the second dutch goal should not have counted...

dreamcatcher - 29 Mar 2016 22:07 - 4825 of 6918

Very poor performance from England. We should off had 4 or 5. No fire in them. Vardy played well.

required field - 29 Mar 2016 22:16 - 4826 of 6918

Vardy is superb....but the way to the championships is a steady team....right there are injuries ; that can't be helped but what the hell were the defenders doing at the end...you have to pressurise the other team specially when you are losing...no we had players walking around like they were 3-0 up.....too many changes and this is what you get....the newcomers or back from injury don't need to play...they will get that in the premiership anyway.....disappointing....not impressed with the crowd either...Wembley should be rocking....not all sat there like mummies....

required field - 29 Mar 2016 22:21 - 4827 of 6918

8/10 for the German game for England and tonight 4.5/10......(there are half points)....(sorry to be such a bossyboots)...

required field - 29 Mar 2016 22:26 - 4828 of 6918

(You can see how difficult it will be to get a ten/ten).....I shall be awarding points from now on.......

If you want to change a lot...bring on Andorra or Luxembourg (no disrespect).....the FA could organise a game with a minnow on the road to the finals so that all the players could have a game but surely not against the Netherlands for pete's sake......agghhhh.....

dreamcatcher - 29 Mar 2016 22:33 - 4830 of 6918

I think the crowd were falling asleep with the poor midfield play of just passing backwards and forwards and not advancing towards the goal. England are not capable of a 10.

Nice !....anyway.....it's like the curse of the Nevilles has come back...I thought it had been eradicated and England would progress....no.....the team is still like Triggers broom....the same but all the parts being replaced....haven't they learnt yet...if it ain't broke : don't fix it !.....

Chris Carson - 30 Mar 2016 13:45 - 4833 of 6918

rf - Cut Woy some slack mate, he can only take 23 players from probably the best squad England have had for years. Remember the Euros are being played in July, big difference in temperature from a cold night in Berlin and London. The high tempo closing down game may not be appropriate so will need a plan B. Chill :0)

KidA - 30 Mar 2016 16:41 - 4834 of 6918

Defence is poor, keeper situation has gone downhill - performance and injury, light in midfield beyond first choice, and on the forward front: Kane, Vardy, Rooney, Sturridge, and Welbeck; Walcott, Sterling, and Lallana can get lost - wouldn't want them when the going gets tough.

Other than that...:)

Cheers,
KidA

Top of the table clash should be a good game to watch as both teams need the points, I just favour Brighton to shade it, (no surprise there Stan eh!).

A cracking game to watch from start to finish for the neutral, Burnley definitely robbed of 3pts as a captain Keane effort clearly goes in over the goal line.

Barton should have been sent off, but you're right it was a good game to watch.

I disagree and the slow motion shows that he did nothing wrong, Barton was superb from start to finish and I was appalled when we signed him but to be fair he has been brilliant all season.

2517GEORGE - 02 Apr 2016 19:34 - 4840 of 6918

You obviously didn't see Barton stamping on Kayal, fortunately the camera's caught it and Barton could be in trouble.
