Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

cynic - 19 Aug 2016 20:50 - 4941 of 12628

4924 - it may be termed "my personal balance" but as you admitted once (yes, just once) many moons ago, you have no interest in presenting a balanced view ......

with that you are indeed consistent, and dull and boorish and monotonous, and it is for for that (alone) that i am very glad indeed that i waste little of my time on here nowadays

Your right Fred (for once) we are special ,we are Great Britain and we don't need to share our sweets with most of Eastern Europe and a corrupt Union in Brussels who want to take take and drag us down ...Hope that helps.

Fred1new - 19 Aug 2016 21:27 - 4943 of 12628

Manuel,

So am I.

Dumbo..

Keep sucking them!

For someone who is a little long in the tooth, as you are Fred, you don't seem to learnt anything from experience.

Defending your way of life is not something terrible, it is a natural reaction to any incursion.

For an old socialista, you have a weird way of looking out for your offspring..cos they are the ones who will feel the pinch of globalism.

It's also a little strange to see a died in the wool socialista defending market free for all'...except it's not free, nothing is free...there is a cost, and your grandkids will pay.

Just remember Freda is pre - programmed to act this way it is too embedded in him to be any different .

Fred1new - 20 Aug 2016 08:28 - 4946 of 12628

Max.

I may be long in the tooth, but I have learnt from history.

Also, I can see the benefits of cooperation as well as competition.

Freds a first generation immigrant, and like a lot of first/second generation
immigrants they hate anything English and wish to exact revenge on what
they see as past English imperialism on their motherlands.

They would be jubilant to see the past imperialist subdued by another political
ideology.

Fred1new - 20 Aug 2016 13:50 - 4948 of 12628

Granny.

No.

But I do have a dislike of some little englanders hankering for their mythical pasts.

Dil - 20 Aug 2016 13:59 - 4949 of 12628

Brexit doesn't seem to have done our Olympic team any harm and the medal table looks like a league table of who will do best from us leaving.

Dil - 20 Aug 2016 14:01 - 4950 of 12628

But if one more of our medal winner tells me it felt 'surreal' I'm gonna fecking scream.

Fred has a dislike of some little englanders hankering for their mythical pasts.

What you mean when you could get a job as a bus driver ?

British bus driver 'is refused a job interview for Arriva in Watford because he's not ROMANIAN' as the company is accused of exploiting foreign staff by providing them with cramped living conditions
Peter Kennedy, 45, of Lincolnshire is a fully qualified bus driver
Arriva advert read 'EU bus drivers wanted' for Watford-based job
The married man had a job interview arranged but it was cancelled
Manager said scheme 'set up for Romanians had filled Watford jobs'

Perhaps peeps should boycott all Arriva transport throughout the country using social media to spread the word.

Had this been the other way around all hell would break loose by the liberal luvvies.

I have always believed in that , we the people can change things as we did with the EU vote . People in Watford should boycott Arriva buses .

VICTIM - 21 Aug 2016 07:08 - 4954 of 12628

Can't believe that at all it's disgusting , I wouldn't employ any eastern drivers , do you see that crash TV prog they are all east europeans . How can a Company advertise like that .

cynic - 21 Aug 2016 17:28 - 4955 of 12628

It's been reported that...

"There is still virtually nobody in Brussels who thinks that Brexit is a good idea"

Lolololololololololololololololololololololololol!!!!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

'VIRTUALLY' I'm surprised that it gives the impression that there is 'anyone',
that being the heart of the european dream..

jimmy b - 22 Aug 2016 08:37 - 4959 of 12628

That made me laugh too ,however have a look at this one from Saturdays paper .

How typical of the delusional world of the EU — one which, thankfully, Britain is escaping — that Brussels bureaucrats bent on creating a European superstate have produced an Olympics medals table lumping all 28 member nations together under the EU flag.
This folie de grandeur means the EU leads the medal table — above the U.S.! What’s more, it is doubly bogus since more than a quarter of the EU’s golds were won by Brits — representing a nation whose people can’t wait to leave such an arrogant and unaccountable organisation

I see Sturgeon is getting some stick from certain areas up there in Scotland .
